Edited by: Smurphy1 on 16/12/2008 02:34:21 Well for the first time since I started playing 6 months ago I am at a loss in deciding what to train next. I am not looking for specific skills to train, that I can figure out. What I am looking for are some suggestions on a direction to train towards. I run lots of missions and have all relavent gank and tank skills at 4 or 5 and I dont want to train them further at the moment. I already have an industry alt so not looking to go that direction either. Basically I cant decided whether to move towards a new class of ship: command ships, hacs, caps(probably not) or to cross train or perhaps there are something else I am missing but dont quite realize it.
So anyone have some suggestions?
Edit: might help if I add this. http://ineve.net/skills/character.php?charID=OTYwODU0OTc1 Also I fly a Raven for missions and am considering moving towards pvp.

Edited by: Khalinea on 16/12/2008 03:52:23 I'd recommend training for T2 frigates if you want to get into pvp (interceptors, assault frigates, electronic attack frigates, covops really whatever you fancy) as the skills you need to train to fly these ships well are good support skills for almost any ship you may want to fly later.
[Edit] Also the navigation tree affects pretty much every ship you might fly.

On top of what has been said, for PvE, I would go with BC/CS. I fly Minmatar and I feel I may have wasted my skills for T2 Large weapons and BS V. I just am not a big fan of them. So I am going to train for Command Ships since I really enjoy flying my Hurricane. I also enjoy flying frigs as well.
Definitely finish skilling up your missiles and support skills and brace yourself for a long haul to BC V if you decide to go with CS.

Edited by: Darkeen on 16/12/2008 22:51:40 If you've got an industry alt then what about support skills for the industry alt?
ie training freighters and the like with related support skills (ie drones) to help him when mining....
Just the first idea that pops into mind.
Looking at your in-eve profile, Id start by getting Mechanics skills up. mechanics, and Hull upgrades wil help increase your existing tank (hull & armor respectively) for no extra items or slots. Get your navigation skills up: you want Navigation to L5 and every other Navigation skill (for AB and MWD as well as evasive manuevering) to Level 4. Without them you might as well be flying a brick..... And get those ship skills to level 5 - all of them. You'll need tothem to L5 if you want to ever branch out into any other T2 ships....
Hope that helps.
Edit: Yes I know you didnt want skills but a "direction" is really "What do I want to do". We cant advise you what you want to do - you have to work that out. Hopefully by the time you've trained some of these skills you would have found a nique - PvP, PvE, ratting in high sec, low sec zero sec, etc, probing.... the universe is your oyster... Regards,
