sososo here is teh story:
i bin playing eve for three years now, and recently one month ago i joined a new corp and saw this corpmate.
shes a girl irl, sometimes when she be lonely mining, i haul for her, and when she haul through lowsec, i be her scout and escort for her.
we sometime get in pewepew ships and do L4 together. it was all good times.
i even leeroyed my raven once to save her badger!!!
you know.. as time went on i started to feel attached to this girl.
first ting i do everyday i log into eve is check corp chat and see if she on.
man.. i really love this girl.
but i dont know how to confess the love :x
any help?
btw, posting with alt cuz i dont want to let her know i in love with her...
u know, cuz then id be not as romantic imo.

Something like MSN or Yahoo or Skype will work. I wouldn't really trust someone over the internet that I couldn't see their face. Just me being precautious.

Seriously, there is NO WAY this could work. Don't even contemplate the idea. You are "In Love" with her! Falling in love with someone you have only dated for a long time hardly works. Falling in love with someone you have dated for a short time rarely works. Falling in love with someone you haven't dated but only know never works. Falling in love with someone you only met on the internet never works. Falling in love with someone you met on the internet, though a game, have not seen even a picture of, have not talked on the phone with, generally have no idea of who they are has an astronomically impossible chance of working.
Think man. Back to the real world. What if someone (whom you are not attracted to) that you worked with (whom you only talked to a couple times) suddenly confessed their love to you. What would be your response?

If you are serious, and you want to get to know her, you need to get to know *her*, not her in-game character. You obviously get along great in game and playing Eve is something you share in common which is a very good start. Professing undying love to a player in-game won't win you any points, and if you build it up too much, you'll be hurt that much more if it doesn't work out ...so take it slow and get to know her, out of game.
In game when you're playing and having fun, ask her her real name and whether she'd mind if you Emailed her out of game (MSN/ICQ is cool too, but best avoid social sites like Myspace/Facebook to start). If she says no, don't pester her but just get to know her as best you can in game, have fun and ask again in the future. If she says yes, great! Don't send her "FW: FW: LOL So funny!!" type Emails, just those you write yourself, say hi, ask how she is, what she's up to and get to know each other. If you get to know each other well enough, in the future you can ask for her phone number. If you get to that stage, you're on the right track and won't need any more advice from anyone. Above all, be yourself. 
You need to know her personally, don't be needy, be fun and listen to her. Soon enough she'll associate you as being a positive part of her life, who makes her smile and laugh and is genuinely interested in her. If you can do that you probably won't need to ask her out  Be aware though that there may be a distance between you too. If you're in different countries it will be much harder as you'll have time zones and long distance call charges to contend with on top of everything else Good luck!

This all reminds me of a funny and quite disturbing story about something that happened to me, my friend, his in-game sweetie, and some other random unknown character in EverQuest.
Keep in mind I was only along for the ride on all this. I never participated and only knew it happened because my friend and I were talking to each other on the phone (headsets) while playing (yeah this was back before TS and such).
We were waiting in line to get into the Haunted House (or whatever it was called) and I could hear him furiously typing and snickering to himself. I didn't see any text so I asked him what he was doing. He just said he was chatting with is in-game sweetie pie.
I didn't think anything else about it until he suddenly bursts out on the headset "OMG NO! TAKE IT BACK! TAKE IT BACK!" while pounding on his keyboard and sounding like he just ran over his own dog. At this point I HAD to know what the hell was going on so I drug it out of him.
Apparently he and his sweetie pie were busily cybering each other through private tells and someone standing in line in front of him sent him a tell asking where he got his armor. Well as you might expect he was using the good old /r to reply to his honey and had just got finished describing in detail what he would like to do to her... umm... posterior regions. The reply of course went to the wrong person... And it was a guy playing a female char...

Ok man I am going to tell you a story for perspective:
My brother and I regularly play MMOs together to cause mischief. Our favorite hustle is the Cybersex for gold, isk, kronor, whatever. We make female characters, use photos of our girlfriends(with permission) and prey on people like you.
In WoW my brother made 60k gold in a week cybering and playing the cute "girl gamer"
In AoC I pedobaited a guy and got him to send nude pics to what he thought was a "14 CA F"
In SWG we made Exotic dancers and ****ted up the bars getting those huge RP types to fill our coffers
I could go on. But it all ends the same: a post to our home forums and the loser getting a picture of us smiling.
You seem to be a good kid but you should always be careful. This girl is getting free hauling and support from you. You give up ships to protect her assets. I think you are a great corpmate but should tread on the side of caution. Plus your whole reference to Densha Otoko is incorrect. He saved her from the drunk guy on the train and they had that love at first sight moment. You have seen some text, a crappy avatar, and maybe a few cellphone pics.
Go outside, get some real life girls, then come back and see how you feel.

Apparently he and his sweetie pie were busily cybering each other through private tells and someone standing in line in front of him sent him a tell asking where he got his armor. Well as you might expect he was using the good old /r to reply to his honey and had just got finished describing in detail what he would like to do to her... umm... posterior regions. The reply of course went to the wrong person... And it was a guy playing a female char...
lol.
Moral of the story is, no hooking up in games, and secondly, PAY ATENTION.

Oh come on, I know that it's hard to read the emotion of text sometimes but I'm fairly certain that he wasn't overly excited about getting those nude pics from some dude. I've been mistaken before though......

But seriously though, I'd avoid internet romances, they almost never work out well. Find a girl in real life. At least you have a better idea of you are getting with one in real life. Lucky... of course, then again, I've been sitting here for three months chasing after a girl from my school... point asside.
I'll give you pretty much how I go about stuff like that.
1. Look a good as you can in casual clothes (guess it doesn't matter here)
2. Write yourself an oath, or legally binding contract (I do it on my hand with a dull pencil) that you will tell/ask her, so you remember to. If you don't ask her, slap yourself and/or hire a friend to do it,
3. ALWAYS EXPECT THE WORST. This is a must. If you have expectations of a yes, you'll just get your heart crushed. (Ex: I'm basically in love with this girl from my school, found out just last week why she kept no-showing... she's been dating someone else for a year. I'd hade pretty high hopes, and I've been depressed all week). Point is, less you hope, less you have to lose.
4. Tell her
5. If you're lucky, and she says yes, then ask her where she lives. After that, I wish you luck!
(note: This is what's worked with me, and I'm still in HS, so I'm not sure how it will work for you.)

Harsh but true, it's the best advice. How many freaks, wierdo's and burn outs have we come across in the 5 years we've been playing. I've seen normal people lose the plot.
