Damn, I guess you're right. TRI is the pinnacle of what every alliance in EVE should be, "getting on killmails" and kill/death ratios are the only thing that makes you an ElItE iNtErNeT sPaCeShIp PvP alliiance. Maybe PL can disband and we can all join KIA and pretend that we actually did something significant in internet spaceships over the last two years.

We had our share of problems sure, but we won fights on a level of epicness you wish you could match. That's right, I just said that.
Also yes the Wildcat quote is pretty funny, I had a good laugh when he posted that. He never really did anything more than lose faction BS in low sec. It's hilarious how lame all these efamous people turn out to be in reality.

The answer is very simple. TRI would steamroll the TRI B-Team that is PL, and after two or three fights PL would resort to playing docking games in their capital systems, while using titans under cynojammers. Eventually, a PL titan would be caught in a JB POS the entirety of the TRI directorate had the password for. It would be bumped out, the pilot would log off without DDing, and PL would spin into a failurecascade of epic proportions due not only to that, but also to a number of high-profile FCs leaving them due to their total inability to perform.

Do you have trouble reading or understanding? Mr. Rive already said we've done nothing of consequence and freely admit it.
What's funny thou is you trying to still hang onto the idea that you have done something of consequence when the truth is you're just as cheap as your B-Team is. Had you actually stood your ground and stayed in Vale to fight the NC blob -- you might be able to say otherwise.
But you just decided to disband with the mere thought of losing the space you accidentally conquered and claimed (wildcat anyway) was of such significance to you.
So -- welcome to the band of useless gankbears with us. Accept it and embrace it just like we have, you'll feel better!

as expected they didnt fold due to superior enemy (since there is no alliance superior to TRI) they folded due to internal stuff. Who would have ever guessed that :|

My Hulk is in Shuria (for last 2 years i think) and my ratting Deimos was sitting in Aunenen (for over a year now). Anything else?

I am proud of what we did but in te end it dont count for ****. The game is in a epic state atm. With 2-3 major groups controlling all of 0.0 with there blob. You can be as cool and elite as you wanna be and setout to carve yourself out some space and Dysp but as soon as you pop on the radar the POwer Blocks will just swat you with your blob.
Its sad and gay really but thats how it is. For Havoc's side we will keep doing what we can do to resist joining a power block and doing somthing without joining one. Ultimately we will probably fail miserably because you cant fight the blob.
Bob use to be the top dawgs able to swoop in and evict anyone. AAA are some of the coolest peeps around with very competent pilots IMO they wont remove goons and conversly goons most likely wont be able to remove them.
PL I envy you and im not afraid to admit it. You guys found some pretty awesome circumstances to get what you got. Props to you is all I can say. TRI mk2 was pretty cool in the end it was corps not being able to agree what the best course was. Id rather fail at taking space and have emo idiots point in laugh on COAD then join a power block.
Despite all the things people can point to and laugh abou TRI2 , It was so much fun. Fighting TCF , KIA , ED , IRC , NC , Goons , Daisho ( who else am I forgetting here) and winning a majority of the time. I can remember distictly we would wait for them to make a run at our cynojammer everyday. Then after a bunch of failures they stopped coming for a few days. Kick Helen and I were sitting around and decided "Well lets go to them" So we dropped a few towers in Q3-BAY. From that point on we had them on the backfoot and the little alliance TRI dictated the events. It was HAWT it was FUN and thank you for all involved for the times.
Anywho im rambling just want to say thank you to CORA RA IXC DOOM BE RUST. Havoc harbors no ill will and leaves TRI with good memories and fun times had you all rock.
To the north and NC : Thanks for all the Fish

Where does Atlas live now that Tri has gone? (I thought Atlas was Tri's logistics alt-alliance before, but I admit, I don't really pay that much attention)

Atlas is its own alliance a few TRI corps are now in Atlas and last I heard headed south.
Two corps remain in TRI and call it dead or whatever but we're just going to concentrate on fun rather than whining/forum posting (if i put it in writing some god will surely grant my wish right?).
Like I said earlier TRI isn't dead just alot smaller now.
Good luck to the other corps that were in TRI.

I like PL, and have always had a lot of respect for the people in Illuminati, always felt they were the best corp in Tri Mk I.
Not sure why there is constant reference to PL and NC. Before the GBC maximum failure campaign, PL came and played in Tribute and after that some went over to Fountain for some sight seeing. PL brought in a fair chunk of hardware into the northern war and they weren't set blue by the NC outside of a few major engagements against BoB. Not many alliances have the stones to move that kind of hardware without looking to gain something.
I wouldn't mind seeing PL back in the north, even if they have no formal relationship with NC. It is just good to have good quality alliances around you; friend, foe or indifferent.

Reasons why Tri mk2 failed
a. DOOM. corp, with a history of idiotic leadership, worthless egos, and recruiting rejects from other corps, it was always destined to fail. They made the fatal mistake of kissing up to the GBC's MAXIMUM failure campaign.
b. Useless egos like SATAN and DHB Wildcat that couldn't do real PvP without epically failing even when they tried
c. Worthless rejects and failures, like HAVOC from FIX and The Requiem fame and Gjks above.
d. FCs leaving for reasons above and/or going inactive; not that they were any good, .
e. Terrible forum posting like this post, but much much worse.

Fixed that for you! No disrespect to PL but if they didnt have the means to instantly replace that hardware they wouldnt be fielding it in the way they do/did.
As far as the FIX comments if most alliances came under just a small portion of siege FIX absorbed they would failcascade very quickly. You can think what ya want about FIX but 99% of the time FIX was under siege by multiple alliances for several years. Going back to fall 2005 till they finally were removed from Querious.
Also someone else talked about riding coatails of BOB in the north. WTF do you think goons aaa bob morsus mihi do when they nap and work with coalitions. Tell me anyone who actually does anything without riding on someones coat tales. Your theory and thoughts are lack of logic and thought you are void of competence.

you can say whatever about TRI, but anyone that came against us , any fleet of no matter who, equal numbers ( or ever 2:1) no one dared to go for it, cause we sucked so much!

anyone who clicks those links will realise you are talking out of your ass. there is only one occasion in these links that tri outnumbered hostiles, remarkably the only reason it appears that way would be because the hostiles managed to only kill 1 dictor meaning their real numbers are hidden.
there is also only one occasion that tri forces are shown with capitals on the field. and regardless of all this you are missing the entire point of the links.
the argument for tri being useless is that all tri did was fight hydra. well i feel we have dispelled that myth nicely. and to quote from your own kiaeddz (as you have all seen fit to do from wildcat)

Basically, TRI is a terrible alliance that folds as soon as you look at it funny. This is the second time they've folded without ever coming under attack. hence my earlier comment about fighting that many hydra caliber alliances at one time not being particularly easy.
but of course the people you see smacking in this thread all want to claim that tri wasnt anything that great, because to be frank... it is doubtful they will ever be able to achieve anywhere near what tri did. Powerblocs are ****. It's not really playing the game if you have 20,000 people backing you against a single target and it's sad that people are more concerned about "winning" than having fun on an internet spaceship game. The entire point is, though, that TRI is in no way the only alliance that is(was) like this, yet every bitter TRI posting idiot seems that they did something unique and/or important in EVE; when in reality even though TRI did stand against some pretty unfavorable odds, you were just another alliance.

tri is just hibernating like we do from time to time, this is my take having been in tri from day 1 and being 1 of the 3 ceo,s that formed tri in the first place.
tri was a real success for us esp tri mk2, we got what we wanted, we never wanted or intended to hold space, we did what we did to provoke fights and it worked.
the fights we had were awesome, most of us in tri have the pvp bug being in tri was truly great, we got lots of fights not many blues and fun and enjoyment even when we were blobbed, we held our own and no-one can deny we gave as good as we got and held our own against vastly superior forces most of the time.
we are not part of a big power block like nc or bob, and bob were never blue, we do have blues it is neccessery in this game to at least have some when the need arises.
i play this game for fun and pvp and before u knock tri remember this, without tri for the last year or so eve would have been a boring place, dont slate tri we are and always have been a small alliances with drama bombs galore but who cares, we had fun even nc must admit we brought fun to the game and plenty of fights, without us eve would have been boring.
anyways we are having a break now, making isk ready for tri mk3.
for our next targets remember its a game have fun enjoy it, dont smack we play the game the way we want to and no i,m no imature kid i was 46 last week, i know what i,m talking about so before any flames think what tri bring to the game, it stops it being stale and keeps people on there toes and makes the game so great for what it is.

Anyone who is claiming Tri was not a force to be reckoned with is either hates them with a passion or is an idiot.
But there is a catch to it, Tri didnt have the ability to pose a long term threat for many reasons and obviously lacks the ability to remedy those reasons after so many attempts.
The dilemna is altho atleast some of them claim they play it for fun they carve too much for recognition which they wont get for the single reason that they are not endurance fighters.

Anyways from experience I can tell you that having 10 pages of hate towards you means only 1 thing. You have affected those that post their hate to you in such a strong factor that they would take the time to actually read your post.... flame it... then flame your responses.
