Personally I think Eve is one of the top games on the market today.
I also left Eve a few times,but I have always come back to it.
As far as PVP,I am myself not much of a PVP person,but I think the Faction warfare adds to the game and allows for players like me to learn and for others to still solo

this game is for some and isn't for others.
what i see shining through in this post is just anger that a ship got blown up in 'safe' empire space. ergo, eve sucks.
thats about as much the short version. have seen these posts before and will see em again...

Uh, so your complaining about rules you already knew about, concording npc "corp" players = neutral players = you just got ****d by concord. pure whine, join a player corp with your friend, end of story.
never heard of these games you rambled on about. you had something in there that might have been worth finishing but to much whinage in there repelled me.
if you have problems with eve, either leave or see if you can get the ball rolling which may some day get you what you want. but lets face it, eve is going to remain eve, not some obscure,old space game.
look at what you want in a game and compare it to what is in eve, all of eve, not just stupid stuff you cleverly fool yourself into ignoring just so you can complain about it. oh yeah then see if the comparison leaves you with something you want.
in the end if a game isnt the game you want, just don't play it. it can be hard to do but im sure all of us have left another mmo at some point because the product just wasnt the product we wanted anymore.
