Ive decided that if i only released stuff to the forums that met my standards, i would never release anything. This vid hopefully is fun for you guys. I decided to cut nearly all the small gang stuff out and try and keep it to solo since i tend to find it more interesting to watch. Some of you might be upset to see a lot less amarr action in this vid. Ive been trying to use my original main, Turbo Dinosaur, a little more often to round out my experience, and im finding matar to be a lot of fun. There is still some amarr action and i promise im not done with amarr in the long run. Anyway enough babble. Ships flown- Apoc(close range), Tempest, Megathron, Brutix(lots), Cyclone. linky -URSA UNLEASHED Love to hear what you guys think so i know what type of stuff you want to see in the future. The responses on here have a lot to do with what i fly and how i look for engagements so dont be shy. Finally thanks to my corp, without Club Bear i probably wouldnt be in eve and i certainly couldnt produce these vids. o/

I liked the use of scramblers, but two questions: 1) Do you lose what seems to be a significant number of targets through the reduced range? 2) Have you tried using a scrambler without a web? The use/abuse of tracking was particularly sweet (the brutix vs hype), as it seems a lot of people don't understand that though minimum required transversal to avoid fire at optimal is the worst for blasters, in absolute terms at those ranges, they will out-track the other types of turret. Keep up the good work, oh, and, if these are the 'cuttings on the shop floor', you need to drop your standards even lower, and release MOAR .

Reason why i left is becuse you had killed most of my drones and i had no dps to take you down. Good video. :) And yeah, the huginn could easly get away vs him, becuse of hes limited range on that scrambler.

Kil2 Club Bear	Posted - 2008.12.25 19:41:00 - [53] sorry i always forget music credits. ill go add them to the OP. the huginn should be able to get away even if i have 24k point becuase i cant hold him inside 24k since he can web to 30. even if i get a point he can just mwd away from me and warp. maybe ill try to do a vid with more difficult engagements and try to discuss strategy somehow, im glad some of you like that part. for the apoc i dont remember how i fit but you should be able to find it on my kb wich you can google easily. and yeah solo pvp is possible it just takes some patience. anyone else think replacing eccm with an eccm sensor booster script is a good idea? =)

Loved the electron brutix bits, one of my fav ships its cool to see someone using it well (how the **** did you beat that hyp though ). The ninja falcon kill made me lol, i love those I think your a little bit wrong about the frigs though, i get your point but AFs do really own face now. I fly an ishkur alot and will engage anything in mine (except drone boats, bonused minmatar drones are nasty) and expect to win as long as i can break their tank. A cap booster + nos and anything less that 3 heavy nuets aren't an issue. The target might get away because i lose the point but i wont be worried about myself. Their are counters of course (autocannon boats with afterburner + dual webs for instance) but no one flies around purely to try and kill ishkurs, not yet anyway Kazang

Seeing that kil2 is an overload *** it makes sense to me, I do the same thing :p Great shtuff btw, though I think if you ran into the same group you did in the tempest with your mega you might've gotten your ** pushed in :p

I disagree with the ballancing stuff in the first part of the vid. Taking for example the Mega fight. The aribrator suicidet himself into your range(you could have pawned him way before with Null I like to add). You needet quite some time to take point and web on him and he refused to warp off and back in(drones still in bay and he wasn¦t the tackler) and he did¦t use a MWD or a point in the hole fight so he was fitted poorly or did piloting in a poor way. You neuted the AF down to take a MWD cylce for a better range where you was hitting it(before all the damge was done by you drones or wreckings). With he used it was simply a pilote error to not activate it again fast enught(I have seen way better range and orbit controll from AFs before myself). He simply messed up for a second and you could take him down. Personaly I won¦t took a comment on the Vaga getting owned by a BS that take 30 Seconds to get into range. It is like a Nano Vaga that get pawned before QR, simply a bad pilote(30 seconds no point on him and he didn¦t run or increase range by a MWD cycle and hold you with a overloaded point where you need to change to Null to get him off). Shure this fight locks great of Fraps but it is the result of many serious piloting error on the other side, aswell as on yours(since taking down out of Web Range Hacs with Null is more effective by a large amount if you got a Disruptor to stop him from warping off, and if you pawn him with a 10km Scram range he is simply bad at controlling range). I personaly lost a Mega in this kind of fights(vs Sentrys, Raven, Ishkur, Huggin) and only the Scram actualy stoped me from taking the Raven down in time and neut down the AF to make a Warp out or buying enguht time for messing with both. It isn¦t allways this easy and people don¦t allways make this many mistakes, I and others tested vs other pilotes that know her stuff to, building up our opinion and this is not based on simply bad piloting on the other side. This is not a dissing you, not at all, simply wanted to point out that it isn¦t this easy in many cases and a lot of targets didn¦t warp out while beeing unpointed in the end(I personaly haven¦t this kind of pilotes on my end of Blasters, unfortunaly )Simply a Opinion, it is not sensless crying on forums, it is a problem and the sulution is not beeing up people that refuse to push the warp buttong 1-2 times per fight or have a clear picture how Tracking\Range\Weapons work. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank! However in my experience most people do make mistakes. And for me, being good at pvp(like being good at most kind of competition) is about putting your opponent in a position to make a mistake as often as possible. The entire idea is not to be the best at having skill point and getting into close range blaster fights between passive navy megas. The idea is to get in difficult spots for you and the bad guys, and then force them to make a lot of hard choices where eventually they will make a bad one and let you win. the vaga as an example - if i have a large neut and an overheated mwd he has 2 cycles to decide to leave the fight or not. I intentionally let my armor get low so i have cap for the mwd and so he doesnt want to leave, so that when the time comes he has maybe 10 seconds to decide to leave the fight and he doesnt really want to. any hesitation and i get a kill. Dake is a good pilot and i make mistakes like this all time. some of the examples in my vid you are right the pilot makes really bad decisions which are more rare(like the arb in the fight with the mega) and to be honest i didnt even want to include that clip becuase i think its not as good but that kind of thing does happen all the time so its hard to find only examples of everyone doing a great job yet somehow me still winning in bs with no rigs and no implants. The stuff that gets into the video is where i make the right decision and they make the wrong one because that is whats fun to watch. and druz you are right. i have som fraps of a mega getting the brown pushed in by a similar gang =P

The apoc fight vs the cruisers was a nice massacre. The blasterboat action and tempest was also great. This should shut up alot of the noob whiners in game development section about how their poor BS can't hit another BS even (you're hitting frigs even with the lowest tracking BS guns, pulses) and how blasters are worthless (all the blasters ships were hitting spot on in these fights) and how tempest has no role (it's an awsome versitile solo BS and should be used like in this movie). In response to this, Kil really did ask me numerous times if that whole first sequence was lame, and I assured him it was not. The fights are not up to the same OMGZ level of excitement as some of his other stuff, but we have talked a couple times about how frustrating it is to listen to people complain about how QR killed BS warfare and made AF's small scale PVP gods, so I supported his decision to include that segment. It was a bit of bad happenstance Kil2 jumped in right after we had arrived on gate. The arby was set up just to provide TD's and drones from 60k or so and was on its way out to range when Kil uncloaked. The person two boxing at the time didn't have the vast pvp experience some people sport and made mistakes that are just as easy to make while playing one char not to mention two. I'm not saying this to try and place blame for losing the fight or anything. In the end I was totally happy with the fight. It was a total blast as any one that has had a good fight with Kil2 can agree. The fight looks short on the video with the speed cranked up but by the time it ended it felt like half an hour. Had we ran in to some one less skilled than Kil2 such as the Sleipnir and Navy Raven pilot from earlier that evening we may have won it. I think the Hawk stood up very well under heavy neut and warrior 2s. We could never manage to kill them after the first one though. I did lose the vagabond fairly noobishly in the end but my flight or flight instinct has be stuck on CHARGE!! since I joined FW and it just doesn't occur to me to disengage very often. However the point you are trying to make about cruisers is a bit contradictory. One half of the video you say that cruisers can still be killed by BS and in the next you kill a BS in a BC which has even worse transversal to a BS then a cruiser has One ship to rule them all, one ship to find them, one ship to jam them all, and in the darkness bind them.

It doesn't get brought up as much as it should because most people focus so much on the fights the editing gets left on the way side. Kil2 puts out some of the best edited PVP videos around. Its awesome how well he gets the music to flow with the fights and everything else that I just kind of assumed would be easy before I made my own. Before some one flames me I am not saying his videos are the best edited out there, just some of the best PVP oriented ones I can remember watching. Ive watched several vids on this forum that are better than stuff that comes out of professional studios. War Has Come by Kyoko Sakoda comes to mind. But those videos were totally about the cinematography so the editing had to be great or the movie would be a flop.
