Much like the fabled Grinch, too much Christmas spirit tends to have a negative affect on my temperament, and I felt compelled to make a gesture to put my limited time and resources to work in counteracting as much of the cheer and happiness as I am able. To this end, I announced the Own Zone Dedicational Griefing Contest to my alliance. The contest, as I explained to my peers, was for each individual or group to put forth their best effort in ruining the days of whomever they crossed paths with. The contest was to last until Christmas day, at which time I would decide upon a winner and bestow upon them a gift of 1 billion ISK from my personal wallet, a heartfelt thanks for contributing to The Cause. Both myself and my esteemed colleague Kublai were ruled ineligible, as for us griefing is a reward in itself, and we need no motivation to carry on with our self-appointed duties. Alas, good and honest souls as my alliance-mates are, not one of them stepped forward to display a credible griefing effort and claim the prize I had offered. My mood having improved very little since I announced the original contest, I have decided to extend the contest to the whole of the Eve universe, and double the prize to the person or group of persons who can delight us most with their tale of skullduggery, buggery, and good old-fashioned dishonesty. A 2 billion ISK prize will be bestowed upon the winner, who will be decided by myself and Kublai, both of us able hands at the trade. To enter in the contest, post your tale in this thread, and remember to abide by the Crime & Punishment Rules lest your post be cleaned by a moderator. For heavns sake I ma not your personal secretary responsible for reminding you of every detail of what you plan and say. Although I wasn't privy to the plans I can only hope it would be more sophisitciced than infiltraing a 3 month old fw corp and warping them to an ambush. We've been roaming their space ganking ratters with AF gangs before this week for the past month and have become very predicable with our moves (this was done on purpose). So starting on around 12/24 we took some Recons (OH EM GEE THEY FLY MORE THAN JUST RECONS) to TDE, O2O and K-25, their main ratting systems. On Christmas EVE, and Christmas day - no one dared ratting in any of these systems. A few fellas tried to make a run for a neighboring system, but alas they were killed. A poor Ishtar tried ratting in UG- where he felt safe due to a large mobile bubble surrounding the gate, but my 500m/s Pilgrim scooted along for a full minute decloaked, with only 6 in local including myself and killed him. People pondered as to why I was doing this, and why my corp mates were joining me. I told them "I'm just trying to find where KIA Eddz is docked so I can drink a cup of tea and discuss politics with him." Lucky league contacts a corp member asking if we would be interested in taking on a cap heavy fleet currently seiging a POS in V-mzwo. Haldeeman is informed that there is an unmanned Rorqual in the pos and so a swift plan is hatched to reposses said Rorqual. Long story short,He asked for the POS password and with various members within Ifuse, had fifteen minutes later repossed a fitted Rorqual and Domi, Raven, badger, Occator and Exequor from various other POSs' within Gem - all sharing the same POS password. He talked about a trap in local, with my alt there, so I managed to bust the trap as i logged in (they wanted to re-aggro or something) After they realized they werent the only ones with alts around, one of their members said something similar to "Yeah ill bring a thanatos in here and kick your ass out buddy" I swore an oath of revenge and punishment for such stupidity, so after harmlessly bumping their hulks out of belts for a day or two, my corp and I moved out of the region. 3 weeks later I contacted my friends who were still in Heimatar to grief them, at the price of my "test bong". They scouted and found a domination medium tower, and set about destroying it. If this can count as an entry I'll dig up logs, but it was back in the summer.

I undock in my sacrilige and he undocks in his drake. Panic on his behald ensues.. as this is a station that spits you out at 5km. I lock. scramble, web and neut him. I sic hmy drones onto him.. About 20 minutes in I discover a one month old character mining in a Vexor. I flip his can and he attacks me. I annihilate him in my Jaguar. A Raven then warps into the belt and convoes me. He says something to the affect of "nice job stealing, ***got", then immediately leaves the convo. The Raven approaches my can that I have flipped, but doesn't do anything, eventually warping out. I move on to greener pastures, harrassing the macroes a few jumps over, to no avail. after about 20 minutes I decide to head back to the Vexor, to see if he has taken his ore back yet, since it was 20k m3, which must have taken ages to mine in a Vexor. I find the Vexor mining again in the same belt, but my can is still there, just the way I left it. The Raven pilot is now in a Badger II. I can flip them again, and he can't alt tab fast enough to take the ore into his Badger before I take it. Eventually they both warp out in the direction of a station. I troll around the system a few more minutes, then notice a Vexor and Badger II in a different belt. I flip them again but to no avail. It is decided that we want the Raven kill, and drastic measures are taken. My corpmate Batosii warps in in his Ishkur and tackles me, and puts 2 Hobgoblin IIs on me, just enough to allow me to take some visible shield damage. He then convoes the Vexor pilot saying that he just needs a little more damage to break my tank. Batosii convinces him that he has ECM fitted so he can guarantee I won't be able to shoot him. After a few minutes, the vexor takes the bait, and I slaughter him again. Batosii goes back to tackling me and acting as if he can't break my tank. At this point the Badger II warps out and comes back in his Raven. We go to work on him. Batosii convoes him, trying to convince him that if he can find a way to gain aggro on me, He can easily destroy me in one or two volleys, while I will not be able to do any damage whatsoever to him. He doesn't reply for a few minutes. With about 3 minutes left on his aggression, the Vexor pilot comes back in his THIRD cruiser of the last hour. The results aren't any different this time. In an effort to continue convincing the Raven he should try to kill me, I say in local "Well this sucks, I clearly can't get away from you, and you clearly can't break my tank, so now what?" I then direct my attention to the Raven pilot and say in local "Why don't you help him out, I just want to die so I can get out of here" I then drop a can right next to the Raven. Batosii is in convo with the Raven asking him to help.
