Sentry guns, power/shield generators, field repair mini-stations, mobile refineries. We are still working out the last tidbits of how they can be over taken, what is the penalty of having a sentry gun kill a n00b etc. and we have been a bit busy with plugging the holes that people have found.I would say that you'd start to see these items on the market in about 2-3 weeks, very expensive to begin with

If any I do all my mining in .7 or lower in placed secure cans. Earlier in the game, yes I mined in j-cans in quiet .9 systems but I understood and accepted the risks of theft. Those thieves that target indescriminately, well I hope those get all they deserve. Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt. 'Abraham Lincoln'

I myself have been known to blow up the jetcans of people mining in 0.9/1.0 in bships for the simple reason that they really shouldnt be there. Fact is that n00bs dont mine into jet-cans as the idea doesnt occour to them and they cant pilot haulers anyway. By the time they figure it out they should be in a cruiser and can defend themselves with drones in 0.6/7. In fact, i'd fully support the idea of making bships and maybe even cruisers unable to enter 1.0 space. After all the Government wouldnt allow you to drive a tank into the center of their capital city would they?

A cargoexpanded iteron3 can sustain more than 20 t2 lasers zapping through roids if it's given the proper bookmarks (as in "can will always have 1 piece of ammo"). An itty5 can sustain, oh well, more t2 lasers than you've ever seen Only disorganised jet-can mining ops can be hit by re thiefs.
