They need changed, as are they are nothing more than carriers tht cant be jammed. One of my chars flys and nyx and thb I am really thinking of selling it, I never get to use it. OTher than a moible mini base its just a waste. So, does anyone know if they are "being looked at" by the devs, have they said anything about changes? A mini jump portal or built in gang bonus simular to but less than the Titians bonus.

You can rig for 3 of these: Open Jump Portals Operate jump clone bays Offer gang bonuses similar to titans Hostiles-on-Grid Penalty (perhaps opposite of above) Logistics bonus Able to use Remote ECCM Able to act as a cyno? (without beaconing) However, this is only part of fixing the problem.

The motherships themselves are quite excellent, able to fit good tanks, wield many fighters to reign death on nubs and get that nice ewar immunity (not that that means much with hics, ecm burst etc..). This is the same for the field command ships, good tank, good dps, v. nice ships. The problem arises with competition, its all about cost. They have much cheaper counterparts that still get the job done ie. MS: carrier for pvp, rorq for jump clones etc, Field command: BC fills its role entirely (just not quite as nicely). I reckon reducing the cost of production may help, or giving them better roles, bonus's, buffs etc would also work (for both F-CS and MS). EVE history t2 precisions

I don't really see how moms need 35-55 million EHP to be effective. I agree their RR capabilities need to be boosted. I think this is an issue with both logistics modules and the mom's lack of any real advantage at RR'ing over a carrier. The cap boost and effective cap recharge boost would help some. Isn't that a huge bonus on its own, to repair POS defenders without any fear to lose the ship? At the same time you can assign 15+ fighters, depending on your slot layout. Range bonus to remote reps wouldn't hurt though... But if I was wrong about the locking inside shields part... nevermind :)
