Clive Barkers: Undying, had me ****in my pants everytime i launched the game
Especially those skeletons who grabbed u and shaked u while screamin like a mad ***** where the worst thing...

At this point in my gaming life i'm only interested in 2 game Series: Total War and Operation Flashpoint.

The games that i liked that i can remember in my work induced hallucination is:
System shock 2
Clive barkers: Undying
Avp 1
The point that people are not getting scared when playing games are because they don't let themselves give into it.
Btw. Doom 3 friggin rocks! Scared the living ****e out of me!

That whole series was fun freaky, i'm on the Game Cube version right now and it's great 
and BTW....any UT > any Doom and/or any Quake

I've played every game mentioned and none of them scared me.
Actually.. yeah in resident evil when the zombie-dogs came through the window.. that made me jump.. heh
I guess monsters and demons and satanic evil has no effect on me. Other than me saying "hah that's cool.. kinda like that time I was trippin LSD and the trees turned into.." anyway..you get the point.. 
I get more scared playing vietcong than I do undying, or silent hill. Why? Because I know that one day.. I could very well be in a jungle (or desert as it seems these days) with a machine gun shooting people.
To be truely frightening it has to be something believable and realistic. For me anyway.
