I even remember a dev referencing Earth and Beyond in the demo or in a dev blog. Not that it is a bad thing, but if they took the technology from EnB they would still need years to modify it and redesign the artwork etc to fit the EVE theme. What on earth (and beyond) are you babbling about? And, everyone, please stop saying that ambulation is just a big hoax, you are making poor CCP Atropos's head explode.

Players don't join EVE because of a promise of ambulation. Hell, there is a sizable portion of current subscribers that don't even know anything about it. You would rather have more missions, space content and ships? Good, because t3, wormhole exploration, and epic mission arcs are coming in March, prior to ambulation. Having FPS combat wouldn't mean anything in dealing with station huggers and people refusing to fight or undock. Instead of staying docked they would not log in at all if you could kill them in a station.

They were quoted, repeatedly, in several different articles in 2007 that ambulation was coming in 2008. As it's now 2009, they obviously had to push their release date back. ----------------

I stopped updating it around August, as it just got to be a bunch of work without being a deterrent to the 5-10 ambulation threads a week. But it has everything pre-August linked, I believe.
