I usually do laundry, or watch some TV while mining. Or even play something on my DS or an emulator.

I have a triple Monitor so it makes thing easy, I have my Miner on the right screen, my Hauler on the left screen and dreamweaver on the center screen, this way I can get my work done, though my wife thinks I just play games 24/7. (I guess she thinks people just "Donate" me money to build them websites.

I go into a station, click this little button, which opens a market, click the mineral I want to buy, type a few numbers, and I'm done mining for the day

It's not from or having anything to do with WOW. It's from the musical "Avenue Q". That someone stuck some animations from WOW to the music from "Avenue Q" is a bastardization of what is, in my opinion, a quality postmodern musical that speaks to the social condition of "generation Y".

I mine quite alot in EVE and I know it is pretty boring so I like to keep busy while I wait for the 3 minute timer on my modules. Sometimes I watch a film but thats not always fun.
What do you guys do while you mine? Could be anything ingame or out of game.
I pull the legs off poor defenseless insects.

Watch local aligned to my pos, watch Hulk tank to see if it's coping with the rats... Arkonor mining beats ratting ok!

I watch movies or anime... Or do university work (mostly programming), all on the same laptop... gotta love window mode :D |

I'm the mining director at 99% of the fleet ops with our corp, so i sit at a warpin in my orca (used to be a vulture) and pull cans when they get filled. at the same time, im hauling in one of my alts Bustard, and mining with my third account. all in all I'm prety busy.. i keep a tv show playing over the actual play area, i just keep the chat box open, and the overview window visible. yesterday I got prety far behind so I had my 4'th char hauling at the same time in a mastadon. that was a little stressfull :) |
