I mine quite alot in EVE and I know it is pretty boring so I like to keep busy while I wait for the 3 minute timer on my modules. Sometimes I watch a film but thats not always fun.
What do you guys do while you mine? Could be anything ingame or out of game.

I read a book, or browse eve-o, have a laugh at CAOD, catch up on the news.

Typically do a bit of programming, or have something on the TV that I can see from my workdesk, or do some cleaning, etc and so forth.

Well there are two things I usually choose from. First I have a second account which I sometimes use to haul for my barge so it can keep the lasers lite up. Alt tabbing between them will at least kept you from going to sleep at least. The second thing is alt tabbing to the main WoW toon looking for Saronite in Sholazar Basin... which is still mining actually just differently.

When I mine I mostly watch movies / browse around the internets. But it's a great time to do some house cleaning so I don't get as much wife aggro.
Everyday is won or lost. |

You play a game and do something which is pretty boring, as you state yourself. Isn't there something wrong?

Drink beer. Seriously, mining becomes slightly less boring after about 10 or so...

yea i pretty much only mine if i have a case of beer to hand makes it possible to stay till i've done what needs doing

That by the way isn't a warcraft reference, it's a reference to the musical Avenue Q, someone just made a warcraft video to go with the existing sound.

I generally afk mine at work. So I work, programing t be exact. I mine on my own laptop own linked to a cell tower so not to get boss aggro or IT department aggro. (Now if I could figure out a way to couter wife aggro at home. :)
I have a cargo expanded hulk so it takes 15mins or so to fill it. so warping to a station about four times a hour is not bad. I use less time on eve per work day then the smokers use in the smoke pits. Just loss isk to silly meetings that take more then 15 minutes. LOL |

I plan chores to do around the house and little whatevers that I might have forgotten to do, then pack each one into the mining or ice cycle (depending on what IĈm mining atm) and get ĉem done.
Only way I know how to do the dishes and laundry anymore.
