Keeping the audience in the dark is all well and good for building up anticipation but eventually people get tired of the secrecy and they look elsewhere for excitement. The vague promise of perhaps oneday revealing a carrot dangling from a stick is not nearly as effective as seeing an actual carrot just barely out of reach.
Look at fanfest videos. Theres tons of information.
Also, login to the test server, and you get to see things as they come together including a release candidate as it comes closer to launch.
Basically, its only your fault if your not informed in EVE.

yes I have, and whilst it looks pretty it's probably going to be another thing CCP want us to 'work towards' so will almost certainly have stupendous skill requirements AND be ridiculously expensive.

I don't think they can widen the cap between old and new players much more without seriously affecting the retention rate of trial players.
It's also been said that T3 isn't going to be the T2 vs T1 performance improvement.
Putting 1 and 1 together, I'm not expecting stupendous skill reqs.

Hopefully this will be the case. I'm tired of the unwashed hoards blobbing my max skilled BS. I should be able to kill them by the dozens with little to no effort. Here's hoping T3 brings just that.

Well that's an easy fix. Just get drunk and read it, it'll make perfect sense to you! But, of course, you'll have to be drunk enough that you won't remember it in the morning . Back to the drawing board I guess.

Well, if you think about it, knowing that there will be modular ships without being given any details about them (jet) is what I would call a 'general concept' rather than detailed information
