Topic says it all!! I think amarr is underpowerd...
The cap problem: The guns take way to much, for example. The abaddon cannot have 2 large armor repairs guns and more maybe running at same time forever, therefor i suggest that amarr guns should be capless, to give it a logical and realistic sence, the guns should load energy from the sun and should be able to shoot with that.
The range problem: I have big troubles to hit as far as railguns and that is really annoying and that brings me to the dmg modifier problem, artillery has a heavy dmg modifier output and thats simply overpwerd i think.!!!
Another problem is the powergrid,, for some reason i have trouble to fit everything i want on my shibs because tachyon beams for example take way to much powergrid compared to other long range guns from the other races...

actually wait -
Concerning Double-repped Abaddons:
Repx2 + Injectorx2 beat a similar setup Hyperion by 1 injector charge because he had to use room for ammo.
Beat him again because this time he RAN OUT of ammo.
One of the largest asvantages I'll be sad to see go is the relatively small cargo cost for carrying around different crystals. There I said it.

Seriously, all the other races have capless weapons: Drones, Projectiles, Missiles. Why shouldn't amarr have one too!
And to the range. Well a little more range is fine. Ac's at 2x falloff are still able to outrange pulses. So a small boost there is certainly a must!
The grid. Tachyons! do i have to say more? 
So yes boost to amarr! :D

Nobody can fit that and perma run 2 reppers without filling up on cap modules....

Tach'2s hit out to 249, that is as far as rails btw on a rokh btw....
Beams are to railguns and arties that pulse are to blasters and AC apart from the fact that pulse are op compared to blasters and AC and arties need help compared to both rails and beams.

Tachs hit at 249km that is as far as you can hit even if you had double the pg you have now so your fine be quiet.

Yeah, Amarr needs help. I say make the guns capless, increase their god awful optimals, and a base speed increase should help.

amar have bigest cap from all ships.And all ships(gun ships) has cap reduce for lasers,so basicaly they take less cap then hybrids,have biger range,you can change instant ammunition.You gave Abaddon as expample but my abaddon can shoot permanet whit 8 guns,sensor booster and 3 low slot harner.I dont see any problem in amars for now becose they are most balanced and useful race in game and has a prety good ship(exept sacrelige,sux now from last expand missile phu).SO just improve your cap skill they was 2 i think and you'll not have problem at all.I drive my zealot whit MWD shoot all the time whiout cap booster or rechargers.You just don't have skills.

Amarr have Drone ships and missile ships too. I think there is a problem with several ships of the same class filing the same role and gaps in the ship lines. For example, if an Amarr pilot wants to use missiles, then she has a choice of frigate. Then has to wait for T2 ships before those missile skills become useful again. The frigate exists as some sort of taunt for new pilots.
Drones are a little better. T2 has a good drone frigate, otherwise all the Amarr drone ships--as opposed to ships with drones--are cruiser sized. Neither the missile boats or the drone boats have BS upgrades. I think one of the BSs should be a drone boat or a missile boat.

i agree, and propose a further change:
amarr boats should just be able to scoop entire stars into their turret clips, and fire them. like, each star can have a damage type based on its color. stars can respawn like asteroids at downtime, and besides, ppl with bloom will be happy bcuz theres less glare

Amarr ships are way too powerful already.
Each race has its weak points and strong points. Deal with it, or cross train to another race of ships like everyone else.
Considering the Amarr gunships don't have to reload in fights and have the best tanks in game, I think your underpowered statement shows how inept you really are.

Meh, I'd settle for a boost to tracking disruptors so they will effect falloff.

I like it. Although, come on, we all know that the Amarr have ammo-less weapons. So we will just assume they already have all the stars they will ever need hidden in their hiney. But what about T2 stars, all the other races have T2 ammo, we will need to balance that for sure.

I love my amarr ships, and can't really imagine flying anything else really. I get annoyed when my t2 or faction crystals start wearing out, so imagine me trying to deal with ammo and reloads.
I do agree that the abaddon is a cap hungry boat. It's a beast though. If it were easier to fly, the high sp/rich players out there would be rockin everyone's world with it.
I try to think of myself as a believer in true balance, and am always optimistic. I've stayed with amarr for this long... You know, there once was a time when amarr could do nothing BUT tank. We got some solid damage now.
If I had to ask for anything to boost amarr ships, I would ask for:
1. A meager drone bay on the zealot, 15m3 please. 2. A meager drone bay on the retribution. 10m3 please. 3. A more noted advantage with cap warfare. I'm not sure what, but something. Maybe change their faction ewar flavor from tracking disruptors to cap warfare. More ships in the mold of the curse, except with laser bonuses instead of drones. 4. Lose the missle ships. Yawn. 5. A very minor boost to falloff. 6. A very minor nerf to speed.
For more enjoyment and greater efficiency, consumption is being standardized.

7. Energy turret capacitor usage changed from -50% at level 5 to -100%. 8. Apocalypse range bonus changed from 7.5% per level to 15% per level. 9. An alternate set of laser crystals that does kin/exp damage. 10. To balance all of this, +5% shield recharge time.

u obviously missed out the main point of amarr.
not being funny, but if you super damage dealers using low cap, play minmatar.
if you want perhaps the most versitle line of ships, great tanks and speed, stay with amarr.
whinging about cap problems... amarrian ships are more then just what u see in ship fitters, u need to be very tactile playing them, that's why many consider them the "hard mode" race of ships.
every other race has to reload, amarr should have cap problems. those kind of tanks + constant firing is just overpowered IMO.
less crying, more pew pew. go play the game.
