A fast ship with heavy damage would be nice - a heavy bomber maybe? Torps in a frig might be too much, but maybe a cruiser with torps/cruise or a frig with heavy missiles? Or then make a plasma bomb weapon that fits in lighter craft :-)
The ship would be clumsier than your normal frigate, expensive, requiring specialized skills, and easily destroyed by cruisers or destroyers.

A fast ship with heavy damage would be nice - a heavy bomber maybe? Torps in a frig might be too much, but maybe a cruiser with torps/cruise or a frig with heavy missiles? Or then make a plasma bomb weapon that fits in lighter craft :-)

I want single-shot CM launchers on frigates, that you have to return to a station to reload. I also want torp/CM launchers on cruisers that take up a lot of fitting so a missle spammer could choose between a little bit of anti-cap longrange firepower or a lot of short-range firepower.

Wait for bombers. They'll have powerful 'bombs' that do pretty hefty damage to capital ships but will be pretty innefective gainst faster and smaller craft.

i'd still like to see external missile hardpoints for frigs, that can only be reloaded in station =D. and make a slow short range torp to fit in them.
