Quick battle summary:
NC forces chased a AAA nano gang into the system, and followed it around safespots waiting for GBC to respond. NC had around 250ish pilots.
Cyno blew, and GBC brought in 4 titans. Razor fleet warped out immediately on the cyno and survived, TCF fleet was caught off guard and was quad doomsdayed.
Razor fleet proceeded to fight off GBC dictors and hics, and warped to safespots. Numbers at this time would have prbly been around 150 surviving NC ships, to GBC's 450ish.
Good fight, sorry to see TCF not on the ball with their warp outs :(

Yeah the titans + support numbers were overkill. Local was over 500, with another 100+ in ARG. It was fun run run pew pew allround.

110 nc vs. 100 BoB. Nc dock up and call in TCF another 100. 45 PL next door to h-a and 100 goons reported (although that might have been a joke).
Id say 3/4 Titans was a nice mix.
Then again im just jealous PL kicked me out of their gang.

I would like to point you towards the two bob pilots on your killmail, in unknown ships, dealing a grand total of 0 damage to your ship .
I am pretty sure they used polaris frigates and actually shot you from h-adoc.

 login off should not be allowed in my eyes. ur pilot should stay in space at all times. would make u stay & fight or run for a station or pos to get safe. would stop alot of this 'omg we are gonna die every1 logoff at safespots in 10 minutes' approach. I know it would prob create more lag which i personally hate but would make the game alot more fun & challenging. i dont mind loosing ships. it just mean u need to try harder!

Look at these BoB/AAA posting on the forums after killing a few BS. I wonder why they wern't posting when they lost a titan, their capital fleet, or battleships to PL doomsday?
Bleating on the forums on how you killed a few NC BS? Pathetic. But then again, Evil Thug and Molle were always pretty petty and hypocritical.
I wonder if they will be posting in one month when their alliances are crumbling. MM haven't even deployed yet, nor has there been a proper cap fight with PL in it yet.

Before inserting your bipedal stuff into your mouth, you might want to check the OP of this thread and see that he is from the NC blob :) so excuse us while we succumb to your friends' request.
As to MM deployment, bring it on already, maybe if NC combined fleet will reach 500 they could finally move out from staging and actually do something, without us having to tease them out every time and then wait until they stop sweating. Also, MM will always provide excellent opportunities for afk kills, not aligned BS, lots of stragglers, creative FCing and lolfitted things, so it's all good.

Well, YES. I might be wrong and if i am, i stand corrected, but here is my 2 cent on the matter.
The aggression timer is the system that gives the agressed ability to fight back against the agressor, but this indicates that the agressor has been shooting at the aggressed. The agressed does not get an agression timer, as long as he does not shoot back or his drones attack, hence the station undock and redock game  .
1. When in battle, both sides gets aggression timer, since nobody sit back and gets shot at , but when u leave the field, the drones go into idle mode and doesn't agress anymore. When the pilot, who owns the drones, log off after the aggression timer has run out, there should be no reason for prolonging the agression timer since the drones stay idle, even when shot at, since the pilot is not the agressor but the agressed.
2. You have 2 choices in battle, when it comes to leftover drones. a. You can shoot them or b. You can scoop them. As the number was 400+ against 200+ in your favor + 4 Titans, you could easily have chosen option b to reduce lag and get some free drones  . So when you choose option a, i would suggest that there is a small chance, that you took advantage of what i would call bugged game machanics = exploit.
And as an answer to someones comment of why we didn't stayed in system and fought!!?? I will answer you with the question, why do you need 4 Titans to win the battle??

They lost the ability to PvP effectively without Titans a long time ago. And they aren't even that good with Titans. PL and Goons have killed far more with their Titans in this war. You won't get an answer from them other than pithy and trite comments on the Goons use of Titans in the past.
Roaming gang? *doomsday them* RR BS? *doomsday them* Enemy gang at station undock? *doomsday them and then lose the Titan*
But this good, because it gives PL something to shoot. I doubt they will be so liberal in their use of Titans whenever PL is in jump range.

So in summary, Saturday nc get owned a lot, sat night someone gives PL a late Xmas present (gj) , Sunday NC have caps and fleet in a jammed system and get owned again badly, Monday they get totally massacred but this time it's off to the forums with gems like "cheats" "let's petition"(m-o?) and my personal favourite from NC so far "bob only win with titans" that one is awesome, cheers for that pearl mr 15w.
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

I'm the only guy from arcane posting on CAOD really atm and i have not posted any whines.
We dont pay rent to PL.
Our KB is API driven fro most corps and then to back that up it is linked to most of the majour alliances KB's, yours included.

If said Titans did not have a weapon that killed 90 pecent of pvp there would so many more fights, this is a design fault in my little humble mind... pritty sure if goonies could use a 100 tians , aaa , bob ect they would use them. That is just eve nature, ship design though does get revamped so one can only hope.

Actually, Shrike's Titan in Obe was basically killed without anyone's help. PL have also killed countless motherships without any help.
But, diplomacy is part of the game. Maybe you should be less of a failure in this regard.
No one can go toe to toe with PL with even numbers and win.

TCF promised them some space if they helped take back their land the evil-doers in EXE stole.
NC on the offensive though? They're 'great' at forming a massive blob against a singular opponent (INSRG and GODS for example, and even then they lost an absolute crapload of caps against the former who actually defended their space). And they are not too shabby at 'easy mode' defensive PvP in Sov 4 constellations.
However, NC on the offensive against an opponent who can comfortably match their numbers? I think they've overestimated themselves.

ATM I'd like to thank BoB, -A- and even Atlas. So far the fights have been few, but for the last few days, its made the game interesting to say the least. Unfortunatly the best fight so far was a lag nightmare but still fun. Keep it up and may more fights come.
As for anyone crying about blobs IE: either us or the people we fight just stop. everyone in this fight is out to blob the other and we all know it, example: -A- bring there 100 man blob we form ours get numbers preaty equal to match, take a shot they retreat, call BoB they add another 100 we try to match again if not able to we stand down. and it gose both ways.
Goodfellas please shut up about how you ever wanted even fights, every fight I was involved with against you guys, you wouldnt fight unless you had a decently sized bigger blob of your own, there where times where we where camping you guys in with 45 people, and you had 75 in system hiding at poses.. I'm sick of your crying and claims to be ubber when your nothing more then the rest of us, that choose your fights on your terms. I use to respect you guys, I hope you take a good look in the mirror and reform to your old ways, back then you where a ubber pvp group, and I hope you get there again and bring the fight.

We've been fighting alongside U'K for over 2 years now, including helping them out when they were sieged (first by a pirate coaltion, second by CVA). We have a rich history with them. Joining them was a natural progression. We're enjoying it.
And yes, we do roleplay anti-slavers, and it is rather fun (not on CAOD though, this is just for OOC lulz).

We chased you about 20 jumps and got tired...not sure what else you want from us. I'll tell you what, to stop you whining, next time we see your fleet, we'll just self destruct in hopes of keeping you from running...
Now that I think about it, you'd probably just log off anyways then petition us for sploits...
Let's be honest now, I blocked you for repeated conversations from you and two others in a rather pathetic attempt to kick me offline. (You really need 20+ to make it work...)
And if you're still delusional in your thinking that you docking, when we come to kill you, and hiding in the station for twenty minutes smacking is in effect chasing us, you're sorely wrong.
We got bored of looking at the station from the outside, and went to play with bigger fish... found a hostile fleet we wanted to engage with roughly even numbers, when you finally showed back up after crying in EVEMails about how your members were logging off...
We didn't feel tackling one numerically equal force, while fighting an ECM heavy force was a wise idea. Suicide =! good PVP, or having "balls of steel."
I think I just got trolled. :(

I find it real funny that after this happened, Scorched Earth is back on NC NAP train. I mean, at what point do you say "Hey, I do have a spine?" .
TCF promised them some space if they helped take back their land the evil-doers in EXE stole.
NC on the offensive though? They're 'great' at forming a massive blob against a singular opponent (INSRG and GODS for example, and even then they lost an absolute crapload of caps against the former who actually defended their space). And they are not too shabby at 'easy mode' defensive PvP in Sov 4 constellations.
However, NC on the offensive against an opponent who can comfortably match their numbers? I think they've overestimated themselves.
Now now, let's it get right. Friendly with TCF, we've always been. When you have corps which have strong ties and friendships in the southern area, you go ahead and try to maintain those as an alliance level entity.

How is it irrelevent? Since we have never been attacking PL or roaming in their space. This means that their own gank squads, have lost more ships than killed vs us.

Mr. Evil Thug, they are working hard on it. They have recruited several macro hunter corporations in their alliance who are hunting 24\7 in multiple drakes with cloaks in Detorid. You can reach them anytime of the day (just look up Rebellion claim) and ask them how their progress is going. I thought that Rebellion were "the good russians" against Ebayers, but I suppose macro hunting is fine, as long as you are allied with Goons. |
