Sentries now recognize criminally flagged players, so you cant go near a sentry or jump out after you shoot someone in a belt like before.
BUT
what they failed to mention is that now if you are -5.0 or under, and someone shoots you, you CANNOT defend yourself in return. Before you could shoot back in self defense, now if you so much as open fire, you get flagged and shot up by sentries, AND the guy who opened fire on you.
Personally, I think thats bull, and negates any chance of pvp if the guy is just gonna redock or jump, but you know.. I'm sure some wiseass will come on here telling me how its all smart and fair and totally thought out.
Have fun, and keep this ninja-stealth-change in mind

Sounds as if something ain't right here. I've discovered a glitch about drones as well causing harm, despite whats being written in the support part of this site.

That blows. You should at least get to shoot back if someone initiates combat with you if you're -5.0 and lower. Utter crap

See, I have two problems with this change.
One being they never said anything about changing it, which is totally unacceptable. You can't change the rules of the game without telling people first. If this is an unintended side-effect from the sentry changes, it needs to be fixed ASAP.
Two is that now everyone and their mother in a frig, indi, cruiser and bs will want to take potshots at you, whether they think they can win or not. Yeah if I got a -10 security status, I should watch my back for any pirate hunters, because if they wanna gank me, they have the option of doing so. But this is just stupid, basically someone in a cruiser can web and scramble you, and peck away at you all day long, and you're not going anywhere because you're scrambled and webbed. Good luck getting out of that, either you try to dock or jump, which isnt happening any time soon, or you blast the punk, but now you've committed suicide, because he only needs to survive your beating for 30 seconds until the sentries and him finish you off.
With these recent changes, I'm sad to say, its totally worthless to pirate in empire space. Not only did they nerf it by making you wait 20min, you cant even defend yourself.
Looks like I'll be npc hunting to get back up again.
