Whenever you fire at someone, be it an agression or in self defense, the gates won't let you jump. Even in 0.0 space that happens.
This had to do with a problem where people would initiate attacks then jump through the gates to run away.
Now what happens is that you are stuck in the system for a few minutes instead. So if your are attacked by a superior force and shoot back at a gate, you may be signing your untimely end.

The sentry gun changes have also made the Blood Raider sentry guns behave rather "funny".
They still don't care if you open fire on another player and get criminally flagged close to them. But if you warp to them with a flag, they'll blast you away. The same thing happens if you dock and launch from the station with a flag.

Yes im an outlaw but if the flagging system is this way why bother having any weapons in empire????
They could at least let us know when they are going to bugger the game up i mean we only pay to play........
Get the damm lagg sorted and the bugs before buggering it up more

should be removed since that is obviously not what you want people to do since all you do is Nerf pirates and quite frankly this is a plain fraud
