Would be a very nice option for those of us that like a long range. I would personally like to be able to warp in at: 0km 25km 50km 75km 100km 150km
These options should be ok with everyones setups.

Being able to warp in too close or too far would kill pvp as we know it.

I disagree
Being able to warp into combat at 100/150km would give the mass of lagg you always get in battles with more than 5 or so ships a chance to settle before the pounding began.
Would make pvp more fun and less of a shambles imo.

I agree longer warp in distances are needed. My 1400's have an optimal of 72km which means I need to MWD 15km away from the target once I've warped in just to achieve optimal range.
Another fine mess for us Min's that no one cares about. ----------------------------------- A gun and a packet of sandwiches.

My Mega beams operate at 100km with Radio L so i would love this option....
I kill npc and this option would mean that they wouldnt get to me or maybe even hit me before they die..but is that a good thing or a bad ?

I would rather keep the current ranges and tack 80km and 100km on to the end of them. Imo 150km is too long, and 0km is just not an acceptable range, its like adding a fully supported and legitimate instajump system. The shortest range offered now (15km) is the shortest range that should be offered, both from a balance and rp-technical point of view.

i think the best way would be that u could enter a value how close u want 2 warp in... and should be limited by skills.
And agree with u Stella ... there is a more sutable forum 4 that...

I think that current ranges should be same but 80km and 100km should be added, this will increase chance of solo hunting in 0.0, as hunter will have longer time to bombard enemy before it starts to fire back, this have drawbacks too... long journey for your loot, but i would love such (80, 100) option
