A) I said nothing to you or your force in local. B) I think we all Saw clear video of me not running VS 15 CA and 1 me. C) You attacked A2-V27 twice yesterday, the first time i left about 3 minutes before you even came, I was at safe spot while I went on a Rescue call IRL, as it was my neighbors life in trouble, so yes im sorry i missed that battle. The second time you came in with 5 Scorps, 1 Raven, 1 vigil ... and no telling what else. If you think that we outnumbered you are plain dumb try learning to count, we had 4 battleships. 1 BB, 2 inty's....
You were in a frig the first time, so you have no room to talk, you risk nothing... _____________________ Times have to change --------------------- |

Corps > Alliances
Many alliances start out with good intentions and then get too big and this leads to conflicts of interests and leads to inhouse bickering.
Gathering like minded individuals and culling deadwood is much easier as a Corp.
If I must pick one I pick Norad because I have absolutely no idea who they are but they all vote for themselves on any poll Ive ever seen so they must rock.
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

You were not running because you were warp scrambled/webbified.
and allow me to be blunt here, but the CFS, the majority of them are PvP challenged. I don't think less of them for that, this game aint all about PvP. But try not to kid yourself and others on the forums that CFS own the CA in combat.
I usually wouldn't make such a statement (honest :D) but i felt you needed putting in place mate. Reverend Necrona |

Pretty much speaks for itself....
How is this different from a RL country claiming and defending territory? Alliances are about controlling a segment of 0.0 space. One corporation is not enough of hold even a single system, so corps with similar interests naturally came together to jointly occupy and defend part of 0.0 space.
Empire carebears really can't seem to grasp the concept of claiming space. They're like the Linux nerds of EVE, thinking everything should be free and shared. But instead of making useful software, they just whine and make things difficult for others.

Sorry to sound jaded but does anyone get tired of these thinly veiled threads whose only purpose seems to be to allow everyone to toot their own horn.
I congratulate those who did not fall into that trap and tried to be honest and objective but I am really getting tired of these types of threads on every forum (especially this one).
Best PVP Best Alliance Most Famous Most Important Greastest Impact
What has EVER lead anyone to believe that the EVE community, as it stands now, is mature enough to be accurately self-reflexive?
Having known the answer to that question a priore WHY start more threads like this on a continual basis?

I think we got some fairly candid responses here. I wrote my honest opinion about every alliance I knew. Not every is just tooting their own horn.

Yes an opinion which is already explicitly known given their employment.
That said, I don't have any general problem with threads like this except that having known that the vast majority of people are incapable of compartamentalizing themselves, one knowns a priore that such a thread is doomed to be either entirely or partially hollow, which is why in this context (that of an online game ... not just this one) I find them rather infuriating.
If all one wants is an opinion poll then one ought to disqualify alliance members (and pray they don't use alts).
That said, starting a discussion like this, open to those who are emotionally involved, without posing a logical question (either explicitly, by leaving our requisite definitions or implicitly by introducing inherently emotional qualifications) serves absolutely no purpose. One can never resolve this sort of question, which means that such a discussion can only exacerbate tension or at the best serve to clarify nothing, which means that such a discussion will have been a waste of time, serving noone and fueled and perpetuated only by psychological inadequacy.
