Makes perfect sense. After all, it is the alliance vote - a corp in an alliance can't be voted the best alliance, that wouldn't be logical!

Why is Band of Brothers on the alliance list?
Not only does the alliance not exist, they demonstrated an explosive level of failure that cannot be associated with an achievement.
Well, unless EON makes a "Best Failure of an Alliance Ever" category.

Well the whole Awards sort of seem hell-bent to fail.
I liked how, very unexpectedly, the Tour de France made their very first visit to London on the same weekend the ceremony was supposed to take place and in the whole of London there was no room to be found to host a ceremony.
I also liked how a Goon director won "Best Alliance Leader of the Year" after having stolen a Goon Titan fund and gotten banned in the process, although that may just be a normal Goon sense of humor, and I duely laughed.
And I believe Hippoking is still waiting for his award from last year.
In the spirit of keeping the awards on their normal level of serious business, I voted "Band of Brothers" for "Alliance of the Year", and I'll laugh again if they actually win.

Thank you for this clarification.
It's nice to know that people's names weren't just put into a hat and pulled at random.
I do find it "interesting" that between the selection process and now, how many of the selections are no longer valid options. Just a testament to the ever changing world of Eve.
