Doesn't prove anything. You or someone else could have started an ebay account to grief him. Seeing he has a 5.0 security status I'd guess after surviving a few suicide gank attempts on his officer fitted whatever the attacker decided to go metagame for revenge. Or its legit. Who knows.
edit. CCP will probably wait till it sells and transfers to be 100% sure then ban it for maximum lulz. |

I would get with ebay to get info such as IP address, maybe address information, match it with the account and ban before the sale.
Unless of course the gentlemen who purchases the character has his money protected. Either way, A successful sale is not an option.

Which is why I would think ccp will wait till its sold and transfered before they ban it. They have no real way of keeping people from putting up a character for sale on e-bay. But if enough people get burned for $700~1100 when they find thier new character banned when the try to log into it then I think that would be a vastly moar effective policy to keep it down. |

if it was my business....
would say in EULA against terms of service to buy a char (to protect ones' self) but would turn a blind eye.
no reason to turn away a person wanting to spend money. |
