Will you fly with Ben Freegate?
Last week Horatio Starkiller of Oracle brought forward serious allegations regarding PIE flying with a known pirate Ben Freegate (a member of our allies BlackSheep/Amarria Auxillia).
Horatio highlighted the following example of Freegate's piracy: Deception at Obe
Once this was highlighted PIE and our friends in Amarria Auxillia took quick action and Ben Freegate was evicted from the pro-Amarr, anti-terrorist coalition.
Now however we learn that so called 'freedom-fighters' are flying with Mr. Freegate (not Oracle pilots I hasten to add) as detailed in a report by Khaldorn Murino HERE
So my question is, now that Mr Freegate is apparently fighting on the Minmatar freedom fighter side are we likely to see him in terrorists fleets with Oracle members?
A yes or no would suffice!
It would also be nice to get an official Peoples Republic of Minmatar (PRM) and Friends of Matar (FoM) take on this...

Each Oracle member has their own personal opinions Hardin we do allow freedom of speech, which should be pretty obvious as frequently step over the line, but I am loud mouth and arrogant (especially when angry)and freely admit it. (Big Flaw on my part, speech first think later)
Personally I won't be flying in a 'gang' with Ben Freegate, although you should note that their is nothing we can do to stop him flying with other gangs that may be trying to do the same thing we are and possibly put Ben Freegate at same gate as us or in similar combat situations. -----------

Good answer...
I wonder if PRM and FoM will be as reticent as you to work with such a pilot...
But you are right - it is very hard to keep gangs 'clean' at all times. Or to know the history of individual pilots.
It is something we all should remember in future before we getting excited and start making accusations - something which I am as guilty of as anyone

Once again Hardin, I was not 'ejected' or 'evicted' from Blacksheep. I left on my own accord, to the dismay of AA and PIE I might add.

A simple request Mr Hardin, and one I can answer very easily.
FoM welcomes all those who wish to fight against Slavery, whatever their background.
I judge each man and woman on their current actions. The past is no indicator to future performance.

You should have directed this question to us in the first place. oracle is oracle FoM is FoM - and there are no close relations bewteen us. (which is bad as last weekends experiences showed to us...)
An organisation who worked close with pirates together securing a 0.0 space against the own people, even though the fight gainst slavery had to suffer badly from lack of mineral supply... is maybe not the right address for this question or to judge the FoM, dont you think Hardin?
I think oracle would not take your bait and start to attack us openly for giving a single ex-pirate a second chance.
Stop tring to splinter us, we are splintered enough already, more is hardly possible.

My question is, who cares? As long he flies for us, he does not harm civillians. Thats a far better resocialisation programm than your slavefarms.

Not your business target.
The PRM will deal with it internally if they think it would become necessary.
They certainly dont start any actions on your request no matter how you may camourflage the request.
whowever judges now - should better have an absolutely innocent past..

Employing a self-confessed pirate who runs rather than accepting his just desserts doesn't sound very worthy to me.

Do I need to amend Horatio's equation to take into account the changed circumstances?

Leave them be Rodj
No one is perfect. If they want to fly with Mr Freegate in their ranks then they are perfectly entitled to. After all it yet again clearly demonstrates the difference between the honourable Amarr and the sneaky terrorists who will draw no lines in their determination to destroy our holy way of life.
If they can kill our innocent women and children in their raids surely the inclusion of a pilot like Freegate in their ranks should not be a surprise.

I'd love to pull a quote from one of your other galnet transmissions but my software is buggy, but don't you claim that everyone is re-deemable*? Or is this only the case if it's by begging at your false gods feet.
*Frosty is or in the process of being re-deemed in your eyes, but to us he's fallen down a very dark pit. -----------

I do believe in redemption, but it could be argued that Ben Freegate passed up on his opportunity when he refused to accept his punishment (he has been been very quick to point out that he left AMAX before he was ejected).
My main concern is the apparent moral inconsistencies being displayed by some of your terrorist allies, firstly condemning Ben for his piratical actions, and then accepting him into their ranks without him even apologising for those acts.

What are you trying to tell me? That horatio is a free individual with an own opinion?
Yes. this is the case. It is not horatios business that we gave a pirate the chance to better himself as well as it is not yours.
Blacksheep was a troop of PIE-payed mercenaries as we all know, and i am surprised the leave of ben freegate from AA - hit you so hard that you seem to have trouble to get over it.. just as if it would be an ex-pie-member and your mentor/son or wife or soemthing..
Stop whining man, fit your ship..
And dont be surprised if oracle and FoM overcom this in order to overcome you.
Our priorities are quite clear.
