In the movie ôJourney to the Center Of The Earthö, the main character played by Brendan Fraser mentions that he can see some Veldspar while exploring a cave in Iceland. That piqued my curiosity because I thought that Veldspar was a name dreamed up by CCP, and that it was not a real type of ore. So I googled ôVeldsparö and found only references to Eve. So it seems that the mention of Veldspar in the movie was really a nod to CCP.
Am I missing something?
Has anyone else seen this movie?

It seems Albite and Anorthite are plagioclase feldspars

Most of the ores and moon materials in EVE have a real-life equivalent. Spodumain is I think one of the few exceptions. But if you look up kernite, omber, dysprosium, scordite and the others you'll find that they exist in the world around you in varying levels of rarity. |

OT f is the same as v, phonologically speaking(and b for those playing at home), so it's not surprising that someone could hear feldspar pronounced as veldspar. It's how CCP got the name, after all.
