I'd say so. I took them down with an armour tanked Typhoon at close range i.e. 10-15km. I had to warp out after I killed the first two to get my armour and cap back up but when I warped back in the last one went down easy all on it's own.
As for loot I got some large smartbombs, a couple of named cap injectors, 1600mm steel plates and other bits and bobs. The cream came in the form of a 1200mm Artillery 'Scout' though. Think the poor Megas will be going down again the next time I get the mission.

Zrakor, is it intentional that there's no standing hit?
Also when doing this mission for True Power, the 3 friendly BS at the first bookmark, are Sansha's Overlord with 1mil bounty each, might be to much for a mission not? Seeing that it doesn't even give a standing hit.....
Also i dunno but 1bs and 2x highend cruiser sounds a bit more balanced to me, else it seems it's a way to high rewards for empire, but that's just my biased opinion as player who risks his ship in 0.0... and doesn't even get tech2 bpo's for his work. |

corpm8 did one yesterday in an arma (close range fitted) barely made it out alive,
today he had his Apoc fitted for big battle, and got the mission again, but the BS's targetted him inmediatly.
what gives?! own faction ships targetting you!? ___________________________ "what did that button do??"

It is intentional, as part of the storyline of the mission is that these battleships have lost their ability to communicate outside of their close proximity, as their communication devices have been sabotaged (hence the name Sabotage).

But imo Zrakor, this mission needs to be adjusted, i think bs are to high reward for empire at all, then 3 of ehm.... i mean 3x 1mil bs seems to be even to much reward for 0.0. And they prolly have mission loot tables, not the normal crappy loot tables.
Killing 3 BS is easy as pie, keep them at 50+ km range and shoot ehm up, no skill, no danger nothing, could as well spawn 3x bs loot cans there.

All agents do have the same chance of dishing it out. However I disabled the mission during todays downtime for a few modifications to it, some of which will have to wait until Papa Smurf returns from his vacation in a few days.
I'll have a look at the bounty on the pirate battleships. FYI they have the same bounty as non-mission pirate battleships, but the encounter does seem easier than I expected. I'll have a little talk with other people in Game Design about that.

Oh god. I feel a nerf coming :( Zrak, please dont change the range on the megathrons..or their speed...Me and a corpmate have been training our MOA + Rail skills for two days now just so we can try to shoot em up @ 65 km :/ Would figure that i'd get shot trying it the first time myself gmbl

Today I had the mission again (first mission after the one of yesterday). I warped in to get the next BM and did NOT target or opened fire on them. They targetted me and killed me in less than a minute. I had 2 large armor repairers and 2 hardners of the types EM and Thermal. (on my arma I only had 1 large armor repairer and 1 thermal hardner). How is it possible to kill my apoc and not to kill my armageddon? On my apoc I had fitted the same setup + 1 cruise missile launcher. 1. apoc has more armor 2. apoc has more cap (I had problems yesterday with my arma but not even today with 2 armor repairers) 3. apoc had 2 repairers and 1 gun more
Now you would think: they did more damage or you didn't make any perfect hits or so but I looked through my logs and the damage output per shot was even higher with my apoc. I opened fire when they all were fireing on me, I tried to warp away but they scrambled me with strenght 2 or more.

You can come to Sobaseki and help me take on my 3 Ravens 
Unsure whether to use my Megathron with 5 425mm's, 3 tech II smarties and a load of trackind/dmg mods with AM or my supertank Raven with Torps.....

i fyou can keep range i find it works well to widdle 1 till dead.
I would say raven at range with torps.
Also equipe one nice named assualt for defenders. And arbelast assault has almost a 5 second fire rate and can hold 72 defenders one load
each defender will lock one incoming missle and really cut your damage. if you use two defender launcher set up.......the defenders lock same target and can't relock when one missle takes that out. then the unlockable defenders sit their flying around you and slows your speed and is a wasted shot.
only use one defender launcher....that's 70 incoming missles that will not hit ya, works really well on them ravens
