Eve-db.com goes live & Ingame.
The eve online database project (www.eve-db.com) has again been revived and with the newest feature allowing players to access all database items from your ingame browser.
Since early 2003 eve-db.com has been supplying the eve online community with the most comprehensive and up-to-date eve online information. Ganja has retired, but the site is back with a dedicated team of programmers working behind the scenes.
In addition to the ingame database, some corporate functions have been restored where players can advertise their corporate sales and corporation in general (at current we have just under 300 registered corps).
At anyrate, just a quick message to let you know we're alive and announce our IGB (in game browser). Within the next few weeks expect a more formal and larger site launch, we're just formalizing the finishing touches now.

Thats great, I use the Eve-db all the time when im figuring out how to equip my ships. In game DB sounds great.

Danny, we are aware of that problem. We are currently working our asses of getting the whole site redesigned. However, it being holiday time now that is harder then we had hoped it would be.
For now, enjoy the IGB

This is indeed a great feature (of course it is, i made it lol  ).
Shameless bump  , but I need to remind people that this handy feature is available ingame too now. Especially in 0.0 where there is no markets to check.

I've tried it and it is truly awesome. I does however remove all of the Eve gui for me (including the center dial) and I have to relog. It's a shame. Anyone else experienced this? I so wanna use it!

Can't say I have heard of this before, but I'm afraid it is related to the poor working of the current ingame browser we have. I hope Shiva will solve this problem for you, or maybe the current issues section has a solution already available.
Shiva will also give us the possibility to further extend the IGB and make it somewhat more user-friendly (the current layout with large pages like NPC ship info is not really easy to look into).

Where are you located, there are some routing problems known from EURO. This is because the sever itself is located in the US. Anyway feel free to mail us about this issue to [email protected].
