Not that it isn't fun arguing with our old enemies and all, but I'd like to say that both Squids and C-A did what we needed to do in the war. Squids completed the terms of their merc contract (as far as we can tell, as they dropped the dec) and so did C-A. There were some decent fights on both sides and I fully acknowledge the kills Squids made. Overall, it was a war between two pvp entities and I think I can say fun was had by all.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'd like the bickering between C-A and Squids to be over with (at least in here) so we can move on with the purpose of this thread. |

Can i inquire as to the other kills/losses found here?
In your campaign stats, you show a total of 4 losses, total against MoM show an approximate 22 losses
Now over the times you have specified, this is correct but, i find fighting going on even after these Campaigns, what were these?
Thanks
Xailz
After looking at the listings it appears there is an error in how one of the campaigns is defined on our killboard- It seems that the Squids who were hired to defend Methods of Mayhem are not included in the 'target alliances' list and as a result, the kills they inflicted without Methods do not appear. This is simply a mistake on the part of our killboard manager which will be corrected- and as all of the losses that Squids mentioned are posted on our board already, it does not affect our overall efficiency and was in no way a deliberate action.
And not to get too off topic Ninjatta, but a lot of the REPO versus Methods action was in defense of the Methods POS. Throughout the duration of the REPO war, Methods and C-A maintained open communications and C-A often worked along side Methods, even if we did not appear on the mails.
Thanks for the reply, makes perfect sense
Good luck to your future endeavors, you seem like a force to be reckoned with, hope to hear of your successes in the future.

Prat isn't the first word I could use to describe Sev (there are a lot of interesting ones that apply). But regardless, Excellent group of guys to fly with. I left C-A to return to 0.0 and shoot more BoB but I learned a lot from Anndar and Co while I was with them and they never failed to remain true to the PvP spirit.

These guys recently tried to ransom my corp. demanding 500 million isk, 'or else'
we met them in combat, they lost a single brutix, dissengaged, and not 10 minutes later, retracted the war.

The 500 million demand and canceling of that war are both soley my doing.
While looking over the 10 or 15 corps that had surrendered to us in the war tab, I mixed up the Federal name with another corp that had been in our last war, and instructed a diplo to send out some messages.
Because the war with Federal Republic was simply a war that we were paid to even the field in a 3 corp vs 3 corp war scheme, I had originally intended to drop you war after REPO's was over but was lazy about it. So when I logged on to find my guys bored and flying over in Domain and loosing a bc, I decided to get them focuses on the next job rather than playing around.
Since I did not see Federal for the remainder of the war after we deced them, they were really just an afterthought to me, sorry for the confusion. |

How will I ever manage after that Brutix loss???! Its all a downward spiral after such a huge loss I may just have to stop playing EVE after being decimated by such a loss. |

I'm sure you will manage, just like i managed to get back into my chair after i read the retraction mail. i'm sure if you had chosen that exact moment to launch an attack, you would have reamed us good and proper, and more than carried out your threat:
C-A Diplomat > We more than handled ourselves against repo, and against CEO, if we decided to focus our efforts on you, i'm sure we could cause more than 500 million in damages to you.
well, C-A caused us ZERO damages, we hardly even noticed they had wardecced us, hardly even saw them, and boasted about ALMOST killing one of our guys:
C-A Diplomat > Your "kills" are form a single dominix pilot, that left that fight in almost structure
Please do yourselves a favour, next time you try to ransom us, go ahead and actually TRY

You cant really be that dense can you? We deced you so we would have mutual wt's with the former Meth alliance. It's rather funny how you guys stopped showing up with Repo once that happened. You were not going to pay the isk and the war was over with CEO & REPO. If You seriously think the war ended over a Brutix loss well that is your own problem. Now please stop trolling thanks. |

I didn't know that replying to one another is now considerd trolling...
Lets get this straight;
You declared war on us.
You killed nothing and lost a few ships, lets just say we didn't see much action.
You seem unable to back up your bark with your bite.
We thought perhaps people who were considerding using your service. Might be interested in knowing this.

Here's an idea, lets stop hearing from WT's, and hear from some disgruntled clients. Any clients out there have a problem with work preformed by C-A? Has anyone ever paid C-A to do something, and we failed to do it?
Quite simply no. We have never failed in a job.

I guess the bottom line for any potential client is this...
Crushed Ambitions are probably quite competent pvpr's, however there are plenty of other merc corps/alliances that are also equally competent or better that don't seem to have such a chip on their shoulder. As a client I would think dealing with your attitude and e-peen stroking would be as bad as dealing with my war targets
Now I'm sure your just going to shout 'Troll!' and hope that works but reading through this thread you do not come over well as people I would want to deal with when its a buyers market.

im afraid they are that dense . its fine tho, anyone whos flown against VI know their just a bag of wind who are somewhat overblown with their own importance. in fact these guys are the only ones i like to smack openly on the forums as it always brings out emo-ragery (yes thats a word).
hopefully you'll be able to advertise without whining from now on but i seriously doubt it

people just fail to understand merc corps sometimes, such as someone contacting you about a job which would require no other active wardecs so you retract the war and then people flame you for being cowards etc.
Also, take a look at the lol abso we killed last night. His nighthawk buddy came to help and he ejected so we got a free nighthawk too (obviously not on kb though.

Edited by: John Burdell on 12/02/2009 15:15:00 As of last night we have completed another successful campaign, this time our target was Cute Alliance, an alliance formerly of more than 300 pilots, now reduced to around 200. The cute combat forces rarely emerged from the safety of their POS and stations, and when they did they were sure to turn and run whenever a C-A force of more than 2 or 3 pilots was formed. This lack of direct opposition on their behalf allowed us to pursue their pilots who were spread out across empire, foolishly assuming we would not come for them.
Cute Campaign
The above link shows C-A's kills of and losses to the Cute Alliance for the duration of the war, it includes the complete fail of an absolution mentioned above by Calarin, but sadly not the nighthawk his friend rushed to his aid, only to eject moments later as his shield collapsed.
During this war, two mercenary groups declared war against Crushed, the second definitely to defend Cute and the first likely hired by Cute as well.
The first mercenary group was Onorata Societa, who was unfortunately based primarily in the European timezone, meaning there was no real chance of getting a proper fight between our two corporations. Still, I congratulate them on taking out a deimos and phobos of ours with a surprise late night dual dominix camp. Likely sensing the mistake they made hiring the wrong time zone mercs, Cute Alliance then hired a second group.
The second group of mercenaries was a much larger force, the Crimson Federation, a mercenary alliance which was able to field superior numbers in the times we were active, specifically in the Amarr areas of space- where they frequently camped several gates with a moderate number of ships and backup close by. Despite the presence of the Crimson Federation, Crushed Ambitions was still able to continue our assault on Cute Alliance.
One particular kill illustrates this the best: In Amarr Space, under the noses of Crimson Federation less than two jumps away, a small force of Crushed Ambitions force recons combined with two battleships from Sewn Together Wrong (a small alliance who also had a war with Cute and Crimson) engaged a larger force of Cute Alliance ships. First, two C-A Arazu pilots jumped into the system and warped to their fleet, unfortunately they had moved after the warp had been initiated and the two Arazu ended up at 0 to the Cute fleet. This, as we all know, is not good and we lost an Arazu because of it- however the second Arazu was able to complete its objective: to warp scramble the Caldari Navy Raven. Once this was done, the remainder of the fleet warped in and before more points could be established on the field, all ships but the CNR and the harbinger escaped. The CNR and Harb were quickly killed and no further friendly losses were had for the duration of the war.
Caldari Navy Raven, estimated worth 2.5 billion isk.
