Believe whichever side you wish; I could care less.
Well, from what I viewed in fighting down there, the POS stations did go back and forth for a while, but eventually the southern SA corps pulled further back to 4GQ with occasional ops down into paragon soul while C4 corps forayed north to 4gq and 05y. It seemed to me to pretty much be a static situation. SA couldn't or wouldn't mount larger forces to engage deeper into paragon soul than C9N. Paragon soul had a lot more C4 personel in it than SA, but that is of course only my take on the matter lass. That went on for a fairly long time all things told.
However, things started go against C4 when masses of CFS/affiliated corps like BA/Xanadu blobbed in from TCAG thorugh GM4-GK and joined up with a smallish SA taskforce consisting mainly of DSU and Tyrell if I remember correctly. Things swung both ways for afew days/a week around the 3 stations (primarily GQ2) until the order came through to pull back to Curse space.
Reasons behind the pull-back? Aiding in Curse space was the op protocol. Like a good soldier, I just obey orders and go where I'm told, so I piloted back to Curse space. I know you couldn't care less lass but I thought I'd say anyho.
Anyho, thats all old news and not really to do with what the laddie was asking.

almost true, Parts of the northern SA fleet was sent down to help in taking back the regions and with help from FA/CFS it was successful. C4 can claim all they want that they went to help curse, the fact is that they left when a sizable force was in the area. I was there for a few weeks with my corp killing off c4 ships and taking back stations untill there was nothing left.

Edited by: semp on 29/07/2004 14:02:13 Edited by: semp on 29/07/2004 13:55:30 The C4 (after teaming up with the CA) decided to try and set up home in our space (Stain and the regions below it), and got what was comming to them. After taking a kicking (although we did have some good scraps) they fled back to CA Space to lick their wounds and to join up with their pirate friends, and we've been shooting them in Curse ever since. Saying that most of the notiable corps with the C4 have either fallen by the wayside or are a shadow of their former selfs, names like TTI (the once uber sales and manufacturing corp currently present little or no threat to anyone), Zoners (seen a few of them in and around curse, but not that many at all) and BSC (again very little presence in Curse since Cache was taken off them) and Omega lead by the useless Duke Dork. Kinda wonder why the CA put up with these empire huggers? Guess you need someone to mine the low ends for ya? But i was under the impression VotF had that angle covered?

Ah, thanks Lad, I wasn't sure if it was soley southern fleet SA corps or a mixture of North and South. I couldn't actually remember seeing any MASS but then my memory is quite . . thingy. You know. like rocks. water . pouring . . . pourous! I remember the important stuff but occasionally wee facts slip through.
At the time I do remember the size of the combined fleets from day one of the CFS/FA help-you-out and yes, taking on forces 2 and 3 times your size in slug fights wouldn't have been the smartest move considering the long relay times between getting new replacemnts back in the fight. I think both forces had a good time attacking each other in the period when the triple fleet engaged C4 with a good number of kills on both sides of the fence before the pull out.

OMG lol. We got our asses handed to us? How could we have set up shop down there then? I don't deny we took some losses and so did you. But it was hardly a one sided fight.
Your opinion is not the truth, it's a biased view on the situation, but then again you might not be able to see past your ego.
