And while I may not have been in c4 during the pull out. I very much doubt it was anything to do with something you and your sad corp did.

All armies need funds for various reasons. This is particularly important for a longer campaign in a remote territory in a hostile location (have to have a juicy carrot in the end of the stick to keep the men happy). As this is a game and not the real world (you can't post the troops in Alaska when they don't behave) there always have to be a reason for traveling all the way there. Just because something is fixed doesn't mean you can't break it
