Originally by: HankMurphy of course given the person they have 'balancing' at CCP now, they will never consider a light rebalance / roll adjustment. nothing that makes sense.
nope, they will come in with a sledgehammer and destroy the class completely replacing it with something that sucks even more and change the very way combat is done (making IT suck even more) in the process
Nullsec fleets will continue to be blobfests until the introduction of line-of-sight mechanics (and thus the introduction of friendly fire against friendly ships sitting between you and your target.) Until that happens nothing will change the way combat is done in nullsec. |

I always wished that based on sig radius and distance to other ships there could a chance that incoming fire is instead taken by the ship near you.
a sort of your sig radius vs. thier sig radius vs. the sig radius of the incoming fire and all of this is compared to the distance between the two friendly ships.
so frigates can duck behind larger targets.
would also give the 50 sigradius minmatar logistics more of a role. |

I don't see the issue with the titans. They will propogate over time, but that is the nature of 'arms race' dynamics. If there were no titans, then this thread would still exist, only speaking about dreadnaughts, or motherships.
Whatever the biggest weapon is, there will be a concerted effort to manufacture a shedload of it.
Once a war starts, the number of titans will start reducing as they take each other out. If one side wins, and has all the superweapons, well, they will struggle against smaller, more mobile corporations / alliances, much in the same way superpowers like the USA struggle with conflicts that rely on basic weaponry and distributed command chains. The playing field does have a tendency to level itself out over time. |

IOW you're one of those 'special' people that think the rules shouldn't apply to them.
I see no reason to read the opinions of such a person. |
