Look, I'm not looking forward to the Jove invasion of New Eden. I think they're a great part of the back story. I'm not hailing them as the greatest thing since sliced bread.
That being said, there are many hints in various threads that the Jove are coming in M10. I'm not going to direct you to all the treads, thats just too much work, not to mention cross posting is a no no.
Look for Dev posts about the M10 expansion, and the meaning of the expansions title in said posts. Where they post, there is a lot of inuendo of the Jove making an appearance.
This could also be used to be a 'server reset' to an extent. If they introduce Jove, no one has a Jove character so everyone is at square one. The best Jove pilots could be born on M10, and have a good chance at besting 6 year old characters.
For your consideration :) |

Im more worried about the terrans invading than the jovains, I doubt the joves have anything in thier arsenel capable of wipeing out an entire capitol fleet including a titan fired from a battleship in a single shot. Then toss in 10,000 years to perfect that weapon. Hell they could have it on thier frigates by the time they invade us. |

I'm with Nova fox. All the Jovians are is the most advanced of the lost colonies from Earth.
If the terrans come to stake their sovereignty over new eden...
They'll probably only need to send one guy with a jetpack, he'll probably deflect all attacks with his mind powers, then crush the enemy ships ...with his mind powers. |

even if the jove make a appearence ( since it is them that making the tech invisable for these hundreds of years) they wont be playable characters and there will be no server reset. they might pop up on the eve trailer that it. you wont see them ingame or anything they might appear in a trailer.
the end

The Amarr Empire is built on lies!
They found a Jovian artifact on Sarum Prime and reverse engineered it, creating all things New Eden from lazors to jump gates!
Now the Jovians are here for 'restitution' on thier copyright.
I totally pulled that out of my ass but it's possible.. |

Jove are not comming to New Eden, they have no business with us. The last Jove ship I saw was a long long time ago and it didn't really show any intrest in any thing else then what ever it's business was.
If the Jove come to New Eden they will simply do their thing and not bother with us, if we bother them they will shoot and we will die but other then that. Nothing will happen...
As for your server reset idea CCP would loose way to many customers if they ever did that. So please don't even bother with that idea it is never going to happen. ------------------------------------------- Should you disagree with me, well I guess that is because I disagree with you. If you have a problem with that please feel free not to tell me. |

im willing to bet that the jove have actually fried thier minds so much that thier technological advances stopped awhile ago- they know new eden is superior, and thats why they stay away.

Best thread ever.
Funny how all conspiracies work this way. People so obsessed with convincing other people of crazy ideas, that they can't be bothered to actually try and convince other people of crazy ideas.
I'm still going with my theory that wormholes do in fact lead to Jove space, but we'll find out they all died somehow. That way CCP finally kills two rather annoying birds. The "when will we get to be Jove" bird and the "why can't we go to Jove space" bird.
------ I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it. |

Your theories are really depressing me, you know that?

wouldn't bet on the 'wormholes lead to jove-space' part.. why?
Some ally could stake a claim there and get control over t3 supplies.. Wouldn't make sense, as of late ccp tries to avoid 'natural monopolies'.

Well, CCP always ties new things introduced to the game with some story of shorts. Will the they tie the introduction of T3 ships to Jovians? Is it a reason for them to take a more active part in new eden? I seriously doubt it as I would expect a much more gripping story if Jovians are ever introduced and not just because of some new piece of hardware.
Wormholes? I can't get my head around to make the link. Will the Jovians share some kind of technology to make them explorable? Plausible, but not reason enough to make them playable. |

I think you're imagining the hints. The meaning of the title is "things that are hidden" or something similar, not "OMGJOVEOMG". I would say things on the other side of wormholes are hidden, wouldn't you?
I like how you don't back up your position at all, just making vague allusions to other posts. You're the one making hints and innuendo about what you believe to be hints and innuendo.

The last page of the empyrean age novel indicates otherwise. Seems something ELSE is comming, something that can kill a jovian battleship? Terrans? Maybe a bit too much since the weapon the empress used to wipe the elders fleet was an ANCIENT terran weapon.

the jovians have the technology to jump ships without gates or anythign else (not even cyno field) at destination. Was stated in one of the old novels.
