The thing is sometime in the future all pod pilots will look like the Jove. If you think about it the Jove gave us pod technology and thier entier race uses it. Hmmm seems kinda an odd thing to just 'give' the lessser races as immortality is a rather powerful thing and could be used to eventually overthrow the Jove. Unless, there is a catch. Joves have this horrible wasting disease that is slowly killing off thier race and they have yet to find a cure for it. Pod tech is basically transmitting your consciense at death to a new clone copy. Now what if even with all the vaunted Jove tech its not an entirely 100% perfect process and over decades or even centurys of 'rebirth' all the .001% mistakes in the cloning process build up and give you what we call the Jove disease. So humanity without pod tech would be unwilling to help out the Jove with finding a cure but if humanity is in the same boat as the Jove then all of a sudden the nearly infinite scientific resorces the four races have can all be brought to bear on the problem and then the Jove can just steal it from us with their superior information gathering tech.

Right, how hard is it to read the new stories they posted? The ammarrian fleet didn't destroy the Matar one, there was a local rupturing of space time that caused most of the atomic bonds to loosen with force of, well, atomic bombs. Odds are either the thing the emperess dug up was a way to protect areas of space from the random destabilization and she's going to "give it away" to the other empires in the name of goodwill, apple pie and moms m*ff...*cough*, I mean, um, what's more down home american then fruedian incest?
...NVM, back on target, she will give it away. She's ammassing politcal goodwill for...something. I'm thinking that she's getting ready to do some Black Ops and needs the peoples opinion of her to be "But she would never do that, look at what she's done!" And given her track record it doesn't matter if the proof leaks out, all she has to do is wait for the people to develop the cognative dissonnece needed to dismiss it outright.

*People of New Eden scratch their heads in confusion over the meaning of the seemingly cryptic message*
