I really wanna hear what the devs would like me to do with my frig after the next nerf?
can't use it for speed.. i put on a mwd and i get insta locked and killed in 1 hit, and AB's are pretty much useless if i can't mount a 10mn. can't run blockades anymore, drones tear them to shreds if u can't outrun them. Same with missiles, even with the missile changes you get hit like a BS if u have a mwd active. so wtf is the point of having a frig or cepter?

its ahrd to comment, ccps actions are just pathetic, it makes no sense, specially with the destroyers coming.

...you serious mate? At the rate things are going frigates will be able to take down a battleship quite easily. Turrets can't hit them, missle changes will make torps and cruise do alot less damage to frigates and drone changes will make heavy drones ineffective against frigates. So if you have anything short of a smartbomb a battleship is almost defenseless against a frigate.

Well Its not that I like all the changes but well I live with it ,BUT the change that MWD¦ing makes you EASYER to hit is plain ¦¦Pointless `` and goes against all the theoryes,physics and current studies and stuff in earth existence I believe.If Einstein could read this forums he would be revolving in his TomB and shouting blasphemies on the wind.You could hear ¦¦OMG WTF`` from the distance.

It's theoretical physics though, so it's ok to be wrong.
Anyway, frigs aren't, and will never be useless. Only the people piloting them. No offence ment, and I'm not flaming you.. but it's true. Just like computers, they're only as good as the person in control.

i understand mwd maybe needed a little nerfing, and missiles, but now mwd are useless on frigs. You can't use them unless you have a deathwish. and regular ab's.. woot 30% speed. a cruiser or battleship may have the staying power to run a mwd for a few secs and get close. but a frig will just die, and abs don't give enough speed to outmanuever a bigger ship so equiped.

Well, maybe it's like this:
The MWD creates some sort of magnetic field around your ship to speed you up and this field, as a downside, pulls everything towards it, so Shots fired at you get pulled towards you, thats why they hit you better if you use a mwd, or something like that.

orbiting a bs in a frig with mwd active is the same as having it inactive. its only if you are stupid enough to be using a mwd to aproach or fly away in a straight line.
And really, when games become realistic they become boring, i know i perfer a more challenging game and frigs were way to easy to be effective with before.

I think they should buff afterburners to like 100% or 200% speed with no penatly other then the fitting requirments. MWD should remain the same but get rid of the cap and shield penalty god. Just keep the sig radius penalty.

well, the way i see it is frigs are getting better vs bs and cruisers (except for drones and smartbombs) but worse vs other frigs. In my crusader i rip npc cruisers apart but their frigs just butcher me. Gotta run an amor rep almost constantly...

I have only used a 10MN AB once on a frigate since the changes, and then only because there wasn't a 1MN MWD laying around.
1MN MWDs work just fine as they are.
