I love you too. Actually, I don't really care much about the Falcons either way. If people want to fly them, go ahead. If people hate them, fine with me. I think the whole ECM business is kind of gay though. If you want to fight, then go fight. I love popping them Falcons though. There's not much more satisfying than watching the explosion of an over-confident Falcon pilot.

i love how nano ships get the boot instantaneously but falcons are being accepted. Maybe has something to do with 75% of eve being caldari? If ccp would retract the nano nerf we would actually have a way to counter a falcon 140km away shutting down a small gang solo without any risk.
My 2 cents
Either give ecm a falloff modifier so that they cannot jam at the same chance as they currently do at all ranges. This at least gives a chance for people when the falcon misses a jam to retaliate.
provide a boost to eccm so that the chance is near impossible to be jammed by a falcon.
according to murphies law your always going to lose to a chance based system

i was refering to the entire structure of the game being changed multiple times to answer nano whine forums that seemed to go on for miles. But yeah point taken

70optimal+70 falloff and we are on the right path ... i think :) than add a module to increase ECM range at the expense of ECM strenght
200-250km range is a bit to much

ECM was imo perfectly fine before the last ship bonus buff when falcon and scorp got 20% bonus, blackbird 15%.
People moaned how it's useless remembering the times when everyone and his dog fitted a multispec into mid slot, but it was rather ok. All fotm kids cry when their i-win buttons stop working. An ecm ship could still knock out several ships out of the fight, but it was nowhere near as ridiculous as it often gets now. Also Rook was actually useful unlike now when falcon can do everything just the same plus cloak - broadening it's role spectrum considerably.
So imo just return the ecm boats their old bonuses and that's about it. Bit sick of counting achuras who I can't scan tbh, cache gets spammed by their ugly faces.

Sorry but nobody want eve turned into a gank/tank game where both sides sits opposite each other at close range plugging away until one side runs out of ships.
Maybe wow has what your looking for, i hear you do not even lose your stuff when you doe there, im sure you will love it.

Do you even fly Falcons? One Falcon can easily perma-jam 2 targets.
Because all 20 ships in your delusions sit still and do not warp to BM's...and do not shoot back either as the falcon team all lock the correct ships with no overlap and just happen to perfectly divide up the exactly correct jammers per ship per falcon instantly.......

EFT and basic math is not pvp and is no substitute for in game experience, i suggest you gain a little before you post again. |

This is becoming a trollwar on both sides (altho lecrotta tries really hard on showing he's best at it). CCP will sooner or later take care of that issue, they won't ignore the hundereds of posts that are being made every day about it. When they do they'll do it how they think it's right, and their changes have never been subtle. But they have no choice since here it's like in the kindergarden.
After changes have been made anti-nerf whiners will complain about how over the top the nerf was. But I say you'll receive what you've chosen. Rather than seeing a chance on improving the gamemechanics you act like kids in fear of loosing all their candy. I'm out the trolls have won.

Nobody with a brain is going to support a nerf that is not needed just cos a few f1-f8 close range tank/gank crybabies got hit by a jam cycle. And trying to gain support by claiming ppl should see it as a "improvement" when your actually asking for a reduction so the above close range gank/tank fits get yet another significant boost is obvious and pathetic..

Why exactly is this a problem? Personally I don't much like the idea of eve pvp as being "who can make the bigger blob".
And believe me, if they do get hit by the nerf wrecking ball (if CCP does nerf them, it'll be cripplingly bad, they don't seem to do things by halves...) it really will be blob/rr online. |

In your dreams pal, unless the 20 are a bunch of noobs who would have lost to 10 ships of any class/type anyway.
20 close range gank/tank ships would lose to 15-20 versatile ships with ewar and RR support but then that is how things should be.
