No no, it's correct in windows and on two of my Eve accounts, but the third eve account has US settings, it started when my cat walked over the keyboard while I was in game. EVE settings override windows settings in game, and I can't find any regional settings in game.

The whole "superior technology" thing as to why cats sleep on electronics is true. Laptops I can understand, as there's a nice amount of heat comes off the keyboard... but that doesn't explain why my cat used to sleep on the keyboard of my desktop.
They're plotting, and we are not prepared...

When in FW, our fleet just jumped through a gate to engage the Caldari blob.
My cat jumped up onto the table and sat next to me.
As I typed a message in corp chat, the cat pushed my cordless mouse on the floor, the lid came off and the batteries went flying across the room and rolled under the sofa...

Some of the folks that I play with I know in RL, so they knew when I started doing that it was the two new kittens. It got to the point where the entier corp would say 'Hi Kitty' every time it happened.

Lost 2 ships because my cat walked across or curled up on my keyboard.
He turns on the TV and other assorted electronics in the house, even made a phone call once when he stepped on the redial.
If he was taller I would hide the keys to my vehicle.

Haven't lost a ship to my little cat yet. I've got an older monitor that she likes to lay on and she'll peek over the edge and attempt to stop incoming missiles with her paw.
Other times she'll just lay in my lap with her head on my wasd arm and pur away while I'm playing some FPS.
I am however a victim of tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyping like this in chat because when she's on the lap she might reach a paw out and strike a key.
The biggest item though is my occasional scream in vent or eve speak when I'm talking and she performs a ninja strike from behind the chair and sticks her little claws into my sides.
On a side note too I don't know how she does this but anytime Brad Pitt is on the tv she runs up and paws him and only him. I didn't think that cats could decipher images on tv but she manages it when he's on. The only other instance where she went after an item on tv was when I was watching a UFO documentary and they were showing the ball of light footage racing around on the screen. |

Often when I'm doing someone on the PC which I need to really concentrate in like FPS games or PvPing in Eve, my cat will get on my table and sit bolt upright in front of my screen, refusing to move.
Never lost anything in Eve because of it, but it's made for some tense blind fights

Dogs do what you tell them to do. Dogs will wake you up in the middle of the night if something bad is going on or someone strange is poking around. Dogs will attack unfamiliar people if you're not around. Dogs will assist you if you are being attacked.
Cats do whatever the hell they want, and don't really care about you, or your stuff. When someone unfamiliar is around, they usually go hide.
Therefore, dogs > cats. |
