These ships are not for everyone. If you don't find them useful, don't fly them.

This.
Yes, I wish they had a boost but they do have uses right now. |

Since the patch, they can now jump a Viator in I believe. That Viator can also now use cov ops cloak, and had enough space to fit a large tower in its cargohold.
Blackops does have at least one use now. |

guess you missed the other 2292893894734 threads on this
they always have and probably always will not be a solo pwn machine
wish in one hand.. you know the rest. devs wont fix them. learn to adapt |

Nobody (well nobody that can be taken serious) does want them to be made into solo pwnmobiles.
Now fixing them so they can perform their intended role is a totally different matter, for that they need the ability to bypass cyno jammers and a seperate fuel bay (and no the blockade runner bridging option while a nice feature does not make up for this at all).
This need for a fix is even recognized by the GMs (see the Q&A thread) but they seem to have forgotten about it once again which is why making more threads about it is good I suppose. Guess the devs are too busy introducing new pre-nerfed mostly useless content (aka t3 ships) then to get around fixing the pre-nerfed content that is need of it for over a year now. |

NECESSARY (all): * separate (large) fuel bay *OR* noticeably larger cargohold * significantly increased jump range (4 ly base would be decent, 5 ly would be awesome) * better sensor resolution to compensate for cloak adjustment *OR* (partial?) immunity to cloaking device sensor resolution penalty OPTIONAL (any): * increased jump fuel efficiency (halve consumption) * ability to use covert cyno to enter cyno-blocked systems

This. No need to whine about ships, especially if some didn't get the purpose of black ops. |

How often do you fly, say, a Navitas? how about a logistics ship? how about the Imicus?
Black ops have their niche, and are useful in very few situations, but those situations do exist, you just have to find them and make use of them!

I love my BO. Over 150 kills so far with it.
Most fun moment ever so far was when a gang came into the system where we had ganked a friend of them. They put up camp on the exit gate. We still had 2 BO cloaked on the gate.
Just slowboated until the range was around 100km. Decloaked and cynoed out right in front of them
But yeah, they need to fix that fuelbay, make covert cynos able to be put up in cynojammed systems and get rid of that bloody scanresolution penalty.
WTF, BS designed to use cloak. But gets the scan resolution totally ****ed over if it do.

Blackops does have at least one use now.
But the viator can get past the camp easier than the black ops so whats the point |

Black Ops cloak should have been introduced with them. Massive Scan res would just get people using them a T2 instalock Geddon with no cloak.
Increase jump and bridge range with Black Ops skill.
Someone suggested these are used by 'smart' paeople. Whatever. EvE is situational. The smartest thing most people in EvE can do is, not use them. They just don't apply. |
