If the following quote is true and accurate, then BoB should be restored.
Originally by: Benny Broadband Either way, the only person that has the power to close an alliance is the CEO of the Executor Corp. This has been sent to me as a direct response to a petition that I filed when some assbag did the same thing to our Alliance. It is a bug. CCP dragged their collective flat feet and did nothing to prevent it happening to BoB, and as I see it, will continue to do nothing because they simply don't know what to do. If they labelled it as an exploit until further notice, it would be a step in the right direction, but hey, until that is done, why don't all you directors with a bit of power just start booting corps and closing alliances until the cows come home and see what kind of **** storm comes of it. I mean what have we got to lose and the ****s and giggles factor will be of the charts.
BB
Ok, so this happened to you and the GM's acknowledged it was a bug and restored your alliance. Now, that sets a past precedence.
That being the case if it's acknowledged as a bug AND the act was reversed for you it stands to reason that the same should also be done for BoB. If they have done it for one, then it should be done for others. Not to do it just because it's BoB would be just plain wrong, unfair and a show of double standards.
This all hinges on the accuracy and correctness of BB's quoted text. If correct, then I can see no way this can be brushed off as a legitimate tactic when it's already been corrected for being a bug. |

You missed the details bro..
What happend was he kicked all the corps 1 by 1 out.. until there were no corps in the alliance.
Alliance can not exist without corps so it auto croaked..
An Exec Director has this power.. it is part of the game.

The BoB thing is going to place a whole new level of paranoia into the game.
Maybe now it'll require real life interviews and knowing where you live to be given any power that could bring down the alliance. So if you do, they know where you live...

Close the alliance and get the first ticket to Mexico or Canada before they come to your house and break your kneecaps. |

They should not bring back bob. The director used in game mechanics and did it fair and square.
They should rethink how alliance structure works. Proper delays for kicking corps out, option to require votes in absence of a CEO, CEO approval required for certain actions.
This is fair and in game, but really sort of breaks the realism down. If a director cannot disband an alliance but can kick all out and disband it by default what was the point of stopping them from the former? |

That's what the propaganda machine says, however the owner of the account is away on military bootcamp and hasn't been verified as having done this for real. As long as leadership of tkfka BOB doesn't come out and say it was legit it'll be up in the air.
Bottomline is that even if the account was hacked (evidence such as him asking for various passwords he should have had in the first place points in that direction) no-one believes CCP will be able to restore the damage done (including BOB leadership).
Tkfka BOB sees it as a challenge and tries to enjoy it as such, maybe that is what counts here. They are moving on and maybe we outsiders should too. - - -

BoB is not dead just yet, yes the Name BoB is gone but the Alliance per say is still their under a new stupid name. (BoB had a certain ring too it, this new name is just ******ed IMO)
The Kennys still have all their ships and supercap pos's in Delve and surrounding area's. Now the next few days will decide is BoB/Kennys die or not with only Sov 1 theirs going too be alot of massive battles this weekend!!! Bob/kennys are going too try tooth and nail too keep their supercap production pos's alive, keep their sov 1 stations, jump bridges up ect. The NC and Goons are going too move in, in numbers the likes that have never been seen in eve in along time too kill these sov 1 targets.
If BoB/Kennys defend well this weekend BoB/Kennys live, if they lose their supercaps, Titans, then BoB as a superpower is dead.
This weekend is going too be very intresting!!
p.s...REINFORCE all of Delve nodes pls ccp! lol |

Correct, the alliance was remade, not given back to them, they have a new killboard alliance ID which indicates that. |

You all suck. Take a look at this. That alliance that just claimed sov over dozens of systems in the southwest? That's the new BoB. Most if not all the old BoB corps are now known as KenZoku. Like the grownups have been saying since two minutes after this was all announced, ex-BoB simply reformed a new alliance, supported by the pet alliances that took sov after BoB was disbanded, and are now back in control. |

Agree 100%. You can bet your ass if this happened to Goon Swarm BoB wouldn't be lobbying to have their Alliance reinstated. |
