Why aren't the matches on youtube yet uncle Charlie?

Quite simply: Because I can only do so many things at once , this weekend we're working around the clock to bring you the biggest Eve event; the Tournament Finals live via Eve Tv and that takes all our team's man/computer power to do. Everything WILL be on youtube. Matches in HD, studio bits, the brand new behind the scenes videos which you'll see for the first time in Sunday's show. But these will take a couple of extra days to get online. The process so you understand why; The qualifiers were recorded by myself with fraps, including audio via eve voice so all one neat package, with the help of CCP Alice that footage was simply trimmed, pre and post roll added, rendered, compressed and uploaded. We got so fast at the process we had last Sunday's matches mostly up by the end of that very night! Here its a little different. We have two sets of fraps from each camera pc, these need to be collected and sorted, footage from each pc then needs to be synced together for each match, audio taken from our main recording of the show is added and also synced and then editing between the two tracks of footage done to give you a nice video. Add pre roll, post roll, render, compress, upload. Now do that for all 31 matches of the finals weekend AND while that's going on we also have 30+ segments of studio footage that need to be cut up and prepared as well. TLDR: A lot more work means matches will be on youtube in a few days. But what you'll end up with is an awesome set of playlists showing the entire day's show, in studio and in game with the matches in HD. Or at least, one can hope :) (just speculating you wouldn't release tech 3 ships for testing before you released information about them)

I would agree, I could see nothing, even on the high bandwidth feed, it was so blurred and lo-res looking, so HD posted somewhere else will be worth waiting for, but I'll only end up watching some, not all of the matches. I watched all machtes, but not everyone did and to be able to watch the matches DAYS after the tournament ended is a punch in the face for everyone that would like to participate in the event. The excuse that one man have to do all the cutting and rendering + a footage on ONE single PC, shows me where the priority is... ]
