(note that I have replaced/upgraded most everything in there with the exception of the power supply, motherboard and CPU. However my GPU is a 8600 GTS and I've only got 2 gigs of ram) Oddly enough I rarely lag in jita, and that's only on the rare Sunday when I NEED to head into jita. Still lag in big fleet fights though.... Edit: In B4 OP asserts that I am lying. To the OP, unfortunately there is no cure for being a jackass, nor is there one for Internet-tough-guy syndrome. Try playing from Ethiopia. I usually play w/ under a 128k connection. And Jita barely lags, takes about 2-3 seconds to load for me vs. the old 30-90 seconds it used to take. And that is probably due to me jumping into system with a market window open. Anyone else thing the OP is a WoW troll

I also had a few days I was being routed through a provider in seatle that was giving me 10-15% packet loss and a ping of about 250 from just their routing and it made almost everything impossible slow reminicent of the days of a 14.4 modems and playing games was next to impossible due to the packet loss. Do a tracert and post it before you complain about whose fault lag is. Also try playing with all your settings on minimum to see if there is some flaw on your end, sometimes there is a hicup on your end in the is not letting a program utilize your hardware properly. And if you are running a torrent program in the background without making sure to limit it from using the bandwidth a game wants to use you will get lag from hell.

I even went to jita last night just because I heard there were 1200 people there, I wanted to see what the lag was like... it was amazing! - It did make me feel for the first time that CCP's lag problems will soon be a thing of the past. It just seems there is a problem with Faction Warfare, which they have acknowledged.
