Love the new ships, they really look intimidating. And they also look like something out of the Dune movie, which is a good thing. Really looking forward to this. |

No MMO has ever engaged me the way EQ 1 did during the Velious era, I feel bad for those that never got to go to Sleeper's Tomb prior to the awakening but its that unique quality that makes it so damn addictive...

That's what I thought too, when I was contemplating what names they should have. An entire subset of these guys has the prefix "Awakened" as a result.
There are also "Emergent" and "Sleepless" variants.
This is worth noting. It begs the question, if these things are awake, then...
These are not "Sleepers" you are looking at.

The Talocan's are in the new files, extracting the models give you a glance at them, but I haven't managed to texturize them yet so only know the model itself - and it's pretty spiffy

Nope.
While they might be "balanced" further, those were confirmed to be normal Sleeper NPCs, albeit those of the highest difficulty available in-game, and only to be found in the very best areas of 0.0 W-Space - essentially Sleeper Officers.

Been having a hard time putting my finger on what the battleship reminds me of. Maybe something from Dune but been awhile since I saw it.
Perhaps a bit of a reach but reminds me a bit of a Hearse. In particular the Jaguar Hearse.

Old as in Sleeper artifacts have been in the game for ages. (COSMOS sites mostly I believe)
They're now being added as actual NPC enemies in the space beyond the wormholes.
