"I remember an op once where there was suspicion that one of the members was a woman. They wouldn't goet on vent. I dont remember what else but there was some other reason for suspicion. They were the first to die. (Due to not having voice comms.)
There was a more recent 30 man op led by some dude and his girlfriend. We didn't kill very much. Everyone was too busy listening to her moan into the mike. That was the most ackward hour I ever spent playing eve. We unblued those guys shortly thereafter.
I would be thrilled to meet a really good pvper who was a girl. That probably has something to do with not knowing many girls IRL. Considering that most of the girls I have met have fallen between one extreme or the other, and that I don't get voice chats going with the people I kill/who kill me often, there is a low chance this will happen."

Females do play EvE. They just don't tend to stay. I blame it on the memory thing. Who blew up my Damnation last week? I dunno. She could tell you who blew up her Omen 2 years nine months, 12 days ago and what was in the cargo hold. That sort of mentallity doesn't survive in EvE. |

I've been in corps/alliances with women.
Talked to them a bit on voice too so you know they are real. *GASP* 
All the ones I've known happened to have male characters ingame though.
In my opinion and based a little on experience I'd say there was around 1 female for every 50 males playing eve.
So in a 200,000 subscriber base say, that makes... 4000 wimmen.
If you subtract the amount that werent dragged into eve by boyfriends/husbands though, you could probably cut that number into 1/4.

i loled here at work and everyone was like what.
Anyways my fiance plays eve... theres a few around. You just dont see them on forums because to many morons on here (according to her, i agree but still look cus works boring)
Besides that she dont let a lot of ppl know shes a woman because for some reason theres a lot of horny men that play this game and will do anything for once they find out shes a girl, or voice comms. including acting like total douches. You can definitly tell who the guys are out here with no social life to women LOL.
