These are working for me on BUT, only in real close proximity. You need to zoom in as close as you can to the object making the sound before you hear anything. |

I think the ones that were still in your local cache from before the patch are still ok, anything else is just black... |

Originally by: Hugh Ruka Ah, I missed that one. However it is still stupid to delete the large file while keeping the small one.
Actually, keeping the large file is a waste of space in 99% of the patch cases. Though it would be awesome if there were say, a checkbox, on the finish page of the patch to keep the file.
Copying it works just fine as well, though you have to remember doing it before the start of the patch >.>
Also, I still have an bugreport (ID 69880) that is valid for the new build, but filed under the 77718 build and not filtered. What is the correct course of action here, update the build number myself? Or just file another one? |

Originally by: Astria Tiphareth Still stuck on this after a second copy & patch. Everything appears to work, I just can't get beyond 'Entering Station'. Left it trying for about 20 minutes. Any advice?
Switch to scene2
Didn't make any difference. Scene2 is on by default when I start the client, I've tried with it on and with it off, no luck so far.
Enable scene 2, and make sure dustclouds are disabled. _

Originally by: Primnproper Please get rid of that new patching system, for 1 it doesn't work, but the most important factor is that most people once they've downloaded a patch think its finished, not that they still eed to download another 700mb, i mean do you know anyone who prefers to download a downloader instead of a patch?????
What would you prefer? the EVE client downloading the patch (no offence CCP) which it apparently is incapable off because they chose to use another patching system, or a small program which is specificly build for that purpose.
I agree that multi client patching still needs a look at, but the patching system itsself is fine. _

I have scene2 enabled and dust clouds unchecked
This is what my Raven looks like in space, notice that the HUD is not loaded entirely http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/5521/testserverbugqv2.png
Lol, daym. Have you tried updating directx and your graphic drivers yet? if that doesn't resolve the problem. bug report it, include a DxDiag file, logfile and screenshots of your problem so CCP can have a proper look at it...
Guide on how to do a bug report is stickied in this same forum. _

Originally by: Shadowsword Issue: any T3 ship invisible (T1/T2 ships are fine), in station or in space, no new effect for turrets/armor repairer. No idea how to solve this yet, I'll try reinstalling the client tonight.
Sounds like your scene 2 is disabled, which contains all the new shiny stuff. (be sure to disable dustclouds when you enable it though)
