I think the closest to aliens they're gonna do is rouge drones, and those arent really alien, just some mutated runaway drones gone bad.

Amen to thargoids, puling us out of warp. Not inter system but inter warp gates.
make em look like the elite origionals It really wouldnt have to be a part of the game as such, just some simple geometric shapes as in the origional (green or see through is fine) and the first person to get a screeny wins a quafe or summat.

But yea, would be nice to see some more appearances by the Jove, even if you just see a few ships travelling past the system your in :)

I usually just pass these by with a wave of the hand, but seriously, player content, markets and a closed area of space with 5 DIFFERENT primary races of ALIEN variation (humanity evolved)........arne't enough? This mmo is a breath of fresh air over all the games that have the evil alien menace. This has the air of originality with a deep and complex history (npc) as well as an evolving history on the PC side.
We have enough aliens in our 'verse' already.

handled properly, the occasional visit from a malevolent true alien race would be beneficial, imho
of course, handled badly, it would be awful
