I just wanna see the eve gate open back up and have a few REAL earth ships come through that are much more advanced, they take over some space near the gate and secure it. WAR!

Edited by: Morela on 07/08/2004 20:42:29 Ya, the eve gate re-opening makes the most sense.. It fits in with the story, it fits in with the game.. Just imagine -
Unknown energy fluctuations start in the eve gate, a mutli-empire science expedition goes to study the weird events.
After a large pulse of energy (scrambling and disrupting electronics all across the galaxy) contact between the science team and the outside galaxy is lost, a military force is dispatched to see what happen, and is also lost. Then a single covert op ship is sent in. Equipped with the latest and most advanced cloaking device, and reports back via tight beam transmission that unknown ships of hidious size and strength have begun massing around the gate, and have begun to strip mine entire moons and planets. Until the link goes dead right after sending an image of ships closing in, apparently being able to see thru the cloak.
All currently ongoing wars/conflicts are called to cease fire, and the combined fleets of eve prepare for the coming conflict. To defend themselves from the very place that our race spawned from.
God what fun! Entire systems turned into waste lands, stations blown up, the entire galaxy in chaos..
Chaos is goooooood :)
What? Too morbid?

Oh man! I'd love to see the look on the face of a typical hard-ass 0.0 player if they came out of warp and ended up face to face with a Nagifar.

I am just waiting for either the Jove to be ****ed off and start attacking us , the NPC Pirates Factions raising up and attacking players or the EVE gate opening back up (that will proberly be in a long long time though)
the easyest aliens are already ingame though the Jove and the NPC rats (some of those are rather alien)
and having some major events leading up to either of them raising against us would be just fine with me
Thank You Paw Sandberg

Originally by: Barth3zzzNL The game does contain textures called "Alien1", "Alien2", etc methinks. dunno what those will be used for, Rogue Drone textures perhaps.
I want to see more bloodlines, none player playable but with a few of their own ships anyway. Simply make em fly around, randomly offer a mission to someone every now and then and reward them with something special if they complete it.
Some "alien" transport could be under attack 100km from a stargate you just approached, you would get a pop up explaining the situation and you could then chose to help them or not.
Perhaps youll get a funky new bpo, or a cool ass faction ship. Rawr
This idea I sort of like, with (non)interactable NPCs. Only seeing CONCORD and corp haulers, gets kind of the daily (OMG) threadmill.
Letting these lead to missions can be a good idea, but imo, only takes over Polaris job.

No, we also need Ten-Gu and V'rix.
Anyway... the best idea for aliens is the EVE gate opening back up. That'd be really cool to see. I hope it happens some day.

Personally I find the idea of the Eve Gate opening way better, but let the earthling regressed to a (or many) none-spacefaring race. Way more conflict, tension and more interesting that way as all the fractions of Eve runs to secure the almost free resources. Plus we get to visit Earth...

Originally by: Graelyn Actually, according to a leak from anonymous CCP sources, the "Return of Earth" idea is in fact the long-term plan. The EVEGate will open.
As far as I am aware, there are no plans to reopen the gates back to Sol. There are other things in the works for the next 6 months, let alone year (Kali), and a return to Earth isn't currently on that list.

Well maybe we wont see a return from Earth anytime within the next year(s), or even ever, but what I'd at least like would be for the EVE-Gate to BE there in New Eden...
Right now theres just this biiiig shiny thingy (which still is totally cool btw) but there isnt anywhere you can fly to that has a HUGE structure and plasmastorms around it and such. Even if the place would rip your bs in seconds if you got too close it would still be cool if it was there... ---
