Tranquility will undergo an extended downtime on Tuesday, 18 December. The start time is 1100 GMT and the length of the downtime is expected to be four hours. During this time, a patch will be applied to Trinity consisting of fixes and improvements.
Patch Notes will be available shortly. Updates to the notes will be added over the weekend as more items are cleared through the Quality Assurance process. These updates will be highlighted with green text.
Please note: Training a long learning duration skill ending after the scheduled return to service is recommended.

Edited by: Arthalion Thoidon on 14/12/2007 19:08:42 Once the patchnotes are released I'll probably see lots of things annd think "that was broken, wtf???" but actually I'm already thinking WTF now: Thread title says 11.00gmt to 13.00 and your post says starts at 11.00gmt and lasts 4 hours which is 15.00gmt. Which one is it? Won't be much of a problem for me, I'll still be training a 4 or 5 day skill.

I'm sorry, but that is NOT funny. Some1 made a mistake (a single extra keystroke, mind you) and CCP has owned up to it. We need to move on. Besides, the CORRECT fixes (ie not reinstalling your ENTIRE operating system) are fast and non-destructive.

Black humor is the only thing that will get you through such an experience.
I am just so thankfull that I took an extra backup (on a whim) just before applying the Trinty stuff. I normally only take backups monthly... will I take a backup before the next patch? Yep. You bet. Nothing personal against CCP, its just "once bitten twice shy".
I suspect the real reason for this patch is so they can remove the notice to all users who took the .0 patch (the big trinity patch) as the .01 patch will supercede it

Doesn't matter if it's a keystroke or 10. It was a severe mistake, with universe-wide consequences, a bump down in trust, and YOU are the one who should respect other people's losses. As far as your brown-nosing goes, that's typical of low life forms.

NPCs have been ordered to cease their attacks on secure containers in space.
I think they just wanted to clean up a few cans in highsec, good way to do it, this should be a feature not a bug.

Quote: Corporation mails are no longer sent to all members with a title.
This is a bit unclear. Corporation mails as in internal communications in the corp mail section of the eve mail window or mails sent to corporations like office bills? Also, are said mails no longer sent or are they only sent to the proper recipients? I'm assuming the latter in both cases, but the note isn't clear about it.
Quote: The region names approved for the recently open "drone regions" have been added to the starmap.
Ohhh, shiney.
Quote: Selected items are again added into the contract selection when a contract is started through a right click on one of the selected items.
Quote: An error in the "Restart after changing graphics settings" window has been fixed.
These were slowly driving me crazy, good to know they've been fixed. --- "Come back with your shield, or on it."
