I still have charecters that I created back at launch. That account was cancelled. But the charecters are still there. In fact I still get the 'please come back' emails.

You can always change the font size in the chat boxes. Look for the a A in the upper right corner. I cant read the default either without squinting and I have a 20" monitor.
