I'll agree that it's right that CCP seem to make new-looking content, by making up skills for stuff we can allready do. Bit of a shame, as it limits your freedom within the game quite a lot, which is a major plus for this game imo. In this case ...

Only thing they do, is primarily decreasing overall training time (lvl 1-4) but also force you to specialize cause of the long lvl 5 training times.
