I have cable internet. And when I got the disconnect, I had a very stable connection; kept a ping running to a server in the UK, which mas at 25-27ms with 0% package loss.

Hi there, I've only been playing eve for less than a week now. And tonight the games is basically unplayable due to lag. It takes around a minute to do ANYTHING. e.g. start autopilot, or select a skill to train, undock, open the 'items' window, ...
