I've had this problem for ages too and it's caused by the audigy. As it works fine for you then which audigy drivers, eax version and so on do you use and did you skip any add-ons like the mixer etc.???

got the same prob but only on one of my laptops and only sometimes. The thing causing the problem for me is a process named ccapp.exe (check task manager) and it cant be killed (access denied).... I'll check more in detail what exactly it is when...

no its not the heat.... its the latest ati drivers that is the prob (at least for me) coz my 9800pro ran 2 clients just fine for month after month until yesterday when i installed the new p00 from ati. Tried tweaking the settings both in the drive...

right.,.... try replacing that nvidia card with a radeon9800pro and lets see how well that works with 2 or more sessions - I don't know anyone that got that working after sp2 at least :P this combo wont work unless you run it in comp. mode: xp s...
