63. Time to eat crow / PI in review - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Ephraim Glass so what if it's Farmville? Farmville is popular because it's fun. Actually it's mainly popular because it's "free" and in millions of people's faces every day and those people are BORED. And you want Eve to...

Originally by: Olleybear Another hint: Theres more than a single P0 on a planet. So just give up on any stable production and extract whatever is available. I applaud the ingenuity, but can't you see how stupid it is? That'd be like E...

68. Time to eat crow / PI in review - in Science and Industry [original thread]
I've given up on the idea of chasing whites or reds. Unless you are exporting P0's and like rebuilding spaceports every few days, forget it. I'll stick with moderate-yield yellow areas which hopefully won't turn into greens, in which case they can...

Originally by: Bel Amar I love my industry, and I love the fact that it's dependant on cut throat market PvP. I /want/ to have to compete with other players for resources, because it will weed out the incompetent and reward the rest, jus...

I've tested it out a bit, and depletion looks to be a massive problem. It's ridiculous in fact. On 1-day cycles it looks like all the nearby hotspots are already dead. I've "adapted" my colony to the new PI, and it looks like down the road I'm gon...

So the P2 and P3 people are still screwed, the 5 hour people are still screwed, but somehow you see "less tedium" with your P1 products and you somehow don't have more tedium in moving around the extractor heads. Are you even moving the extracto...

74. In which i am doubtful regarding the future of EVE. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
For incarna, one thing I find "interesting" is the new character creator. I have a 7800 GT, which I am told is similar to what powers consoles like the Xbox 360. I get about, oh, ONE FPS in the new character creator. I can deal with it by putting ...

75. PI - Does it matter where I place my command center - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Until CCP is smart enough to center the initial view on a spaceport / extractor head / bulk of the installations, or better yet to let you move your CC around, it will matter. But just in terms of annoyance.
